It ended up saving wrestlemania. Maybe he should have lost it by now, but it's much better than them going through with forcefeeding Reigns.

What are y'all talking about Rollins as Champ has been great... I don't think some of y'all are not fully appreciating the greatness of Seth Freaking Rollins. This guy is like a mix of Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy

They did it specifically so he'd have to wrestle twice at NOC. I thought it worked well with his storyline. His ego declaring himself "the man" because he's the first to hold both belts at the same time, then his inner coward coming out when he realizes that it means has has to defend both belts on the same night. That contrast, his cockiness and cowardice, is what makes his character. And I liked how they propped him up only for him to realize that with twice the belts come twice the challenges.

Didn't realize you meant the US title. But in addition to what Cannonball said which is spot on, it probably had to do with either Cena and/or Rollins needing a big match for Summerslam.

And as for him actually winning the US belt off Cena, I'm terrified that this is all a slow burn in getting Cena to his 16th title. He's the "underdog" that's repeatedly showing that he has what it takes to beat Rollins, despite Rollins always coming away with the belt. Latest word about the lowest Raw ratings yet scare me even further that they fast forward Cena's next title shot.

Surprised that you didn't put Emma on the list and she's Australian.

There are also two other Aussie girls the WWE signed, Peyton Royce (aka K.C. Cassidy) and Billie Kay (aka Jessie McKay). They currently wrestling in NXT.

    Haha

Yeah I don't rate Emma looks wise. She's a genuinely nice girl though.

I actually know KC, and have worked shows with her in Australia. (I used to wrestle)

I love that look she gave Emma and Dana. It's like a Japanese woman killer in one of those fairly recent Japanese horror movies (like Audition) who's walking away for now but you just know the next time Emma or Dana see her she's going to be kicking the **** out of them.

I really love her energy. She's going to be huge in NXT and if she gets better in time speaking English, she will be a mega star on the main roster. That's really the only thing that can hold her back. She's already miles ahead of every woman in NXT/WWE in the ring

I'm pretty sure that once Lesnar/Taker finish their program. Lesnar/Rollins is back on. I'd pick Lesnar winning the Rumble & challenging at WM.

Lesnar/Rollins/Cena at last years Rumble was my fave match so far this year and I'd have no problem seeing that again either.

Kana has worn some pretty wild face paint, I think they may do the same thing they do with Finn Balor and have her wear it on special occasions.

If and when they get to a feud between her and Bayley, it could make for a great story in and out of the ring.

That would be rad. She should be like she was on the NXT debut and Emma and Dana just keep clowning her. And then bam she shows up in murder face paint carrying her signature samurai sword to the ring or even better an axe.

I think Rollins is a great performer and plays the whiny heel about as well as it could be played.

I do admit I'm wearing on him holding the belt because it has been the same thing every month...

1.) Rollins open up RAW with a speech about how he got over on his last opponent. How great he is, etc etc.

2.) Challenger appears by the end of the night.

3.) Although Rollins has 0 interest in defending his belt against said challenger...HHH and Steph convince him that this is good for his legacy and he'll win the match and he'll be alright.

4.) PPV time. Rollins wins the match some how. It probably wasn't a clean victory but hey, he wins and keeps the belt.

Then it starts all back over again. Every single month it is the same thing with his reign.

he'll duck and dodge Kane and when Kane reveals he wants a title shot Rollins will run to HHH and Steph and they'll tell him. "This is your opportunity to get rid of him!" Rollins will pause and then nod his head and respond. "Yeah, yeah you know what? You're right! I'm better than Kane and I'm going to show it!"

He'll beat Kane, likely because of him either cheating or someone else get involved. What happens after that is the surprise since they are playing up Sheamus to cash in his title.

Rollins on the whole deserves to be in the main event imo. He's obviously the top heel and should be one for awhile unless they do what they do and turn him 50 times over his career.

So, predicting NXT for a second,

Since they actually do things logically, don't suddenly change finishes just because the booking seems obvious, and seem to plan stuff out months in advance, it seems almost a lock that your main event for Takeover:London is Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor, with Joe turning on Finn during the next event. I would love for them to actually put the belt on Joe; they've got 2 months to build the match, and I hate the whole "beat the champ on TV to earn a PPV title shot" crap, aka the Divas/Tag Team special. They've got a logical out with Balor, too; have Joe goad him into a title match on the network, where he doesn't use the demon paint. Then he can go to England as the challenger/underdog, use the paint, and win in front of a crowd that will be behind him. Get into Wrestlemania season, and Hideo should be ready to return just in time to become the first person to beat the demon, and clear the deck for a Raw-after-Wrestlemania debut for Balor.

On the women's side, I'd hope and expect the Sasha Banks/Bayley ironwoman to be outstanding, obviously Bayley is keeping the belt, but I'm really hoping for a Shawn Michaels/Triple H/Undertaker slow walk up the ramp together, two competitors totally spent after the kayfabe most grueling match there is. No hugs, no celebrating, just an acknowledgement that they left it all out in the ring, and left as equals. Then play up that the match has taken a ton out of Bayley, and she is progressively more and more "injured" leading into England. Get Cameron to make a guest appearance and work a botch. Then, if you absolutely must put the belt on Eva Marie to satisfy Vince, have the ref that messed up before do a fast count, or miss the leg on the ropes. Firmly believe that Bayley is better chasing the belt than holding onto it, and if you have to get the strap on Eva Marie, this will make the best of a bad situation; cement the heel turn, do it away from Full Sail.

Kevin Owens holds the IC title through the Rumble and beyond, Sami Zayn makes his true Main Roster debut on Fast Lane, earning the #1 contendership, you've got your curtain jerker opening match for Wrestlemania.

Jordan and Gable deserve a run with the tag-team championships. Seems like it's setup for them to win the Tag-Team tournament they're running....

I like what you have there, although if Sami is ready by rumble time I would have him return at the Rumble eliminate Owens have a good run in there then do everything you said for Mania with them two.

I'm sure Joe v Balor is what's being planned. I hope Balor wins and has a few successful defenses. I love the lineage so far of the NXT title and I wanna see lengthy runs. I think Joe is more ready for WWE than Balor.

Eva Marie is not being planned to contend for or win the NXT title. They may have had a plan for her to contend but it's obvious after NXT on Wednesday that Triple H changed those plans, turned her heel with a slow build. Her winning would be a disgrace to everything they've done building up women's wrestling with outstanding talent like Kana, Athena Reese, KC Cassidy, Billie Kaye, Leva Bates, Emma, etc at their disposal. She's got nothing going for heel wise except NXT fans wanting her gone. I do think the match she worked with Carmella on Wed. was noticeably better on both their parts than the one on the 8/26 NXT. But they should still take her off TV for a few months with all the better developed talent they can push.

Yeah, his first clean title defense since holding the title. Considering that Sting suffered what could be a career ending injury you have to wonder if that was the planned ending at all.

They are still doing the same thing, I hope they surprise me and prove me wrong but WWE surprises me about once or twice per year so I dunno.

Rollins beat Sting clean, and it was barely mentioned on Raw. Instead the Authority get on Rollins about beating Cena, who ends up no-selling a frog splash. I'm super annoyed by that too.
