Thats the problem with the Texans organization we do things bass ackwards instead of how it should be done. If we had any sense we would hire a real GM and let him hire coach that has the same football philosophy and build like that, but we like to hire a puppet GM and let the coach be a control freak on personnel when they have no experience doing that and it shows in the product on the field. We don't deserve to be above 32 after the **** storm of the first two weeks.
Remind me how many games we've won this year? Who cares what ranking we have right now. I'd rather be on a late season winning streak than start an early on. On the other hand an early one doesn't sound too bad either.
Don't college coaches control their personnel? Wasn't Bill O'Brien a college coach 2 years ago? Seems like he has some experience.
How long was he a head coach in college? Two years or one? Either way, this organization needs a better GM who knows how to evaluate talent and work the draft through trades to make sure they get the players they target.
Two years. I agree that we need a better GM, I was just questioning the bolded part of that post which stated that BOB had no experience managing a team's personnel. Half of what a college coach does is choose and recruit the players he wants.

I'm not at all. It's comical how a) irrelevant this franchise is and b) how this town doesn't give a ****. Until people actually stop going to the games and acting bat**** crazy over the most vanilla franchise in all of sports, they won't have any incentive to change their ways.
Surprised everyone is going crazy at this 0-2 start. U guys really thought this team had any chance? I said 5 wins MAX. I stick to that still. This team is very overrated outside of Watt, Hopkins, (Foster when healthy).....
