Because people pay attention to them.

I know it's ridiculous, but one site isn't going to start releasing their rankings after week 4 when others aren't.

It's silly to consider Texans dead last.

Does Bleacher Report have a history of Houston hate?

Texans have no business anywhere in the 20's.

Yahoo is spot on, and I'll ask the same question everyone else was asking a couple years back when Kubes was fired, "Why does Rick Smith still have a job?"

How is this a positive? Texans have shown no history of drafting correctly

Thats the problem with the Texans organization we do things bass ackwards instead of how it should be done.

If we had any sense we would hire a real GM and let him hire coach that has the same football philosophy and build like that, but we like to hire a puppet GM and let the coach be a control freak on personnel when they have no experience doing that and it shows in the product on the field.

We don't deserve to be above 32 after the **** storm of the first two weeks.

Remind me how many games we've won this year? Who cares what ranking we have right now. I'd rather be on a late season winning streak than start an early on. On the other hand an early one doesn't sound too bad either.

Don't college coaches control their personnel? Wasn't Bill O'Brien a college coach 2 years ago? Seems like he has some experience.

How long was he a head coach in college? Two years or one? Either way, this organization needs a better GM who knows how to evaluate talent and work the draft through trades to make sure they get the players they target.

    Two years.

I agree that we need a better GM, I was just questioning the bolded part of that post which stated that BOB had no experience managing a team's personnel. Half of what a college coach does is choose and recruit the players he wants.

    Just curious

Are people really upset about the 0-2 start?

Personally, I want to win but I'm not expecting it. I guess I'm just numb being a Texans fan.

Everyone knows we're not winning **** without a franchise qb.

I'm not at all. It's comical how a) irrelevant this franchise is and b) how this town doesn't give a ****. Until people actually stop going to the games and acting bat**** crazy over the most vanilla franchise in all of sports, they won't have any incentive to change their ways.

Surprised everyone is going crazy at this 0-2 start. U guys really thought this team had any chance? I said 5 wins MAX. I stick to that still. This team is very overrated outside of Watt, Hopkins, (Foster when healthy).....
