Not really. I don't think the owners of Murray or Jeremy hill or Alfred Morris who are 2nd round rb's were too happy this week. Like I said only a handful are matchup proof and even then they still have terrible games from time to time but not as often as the true elite. The rb position is as weak as it's been as far as depth in a long time. It's a WR league now and plenty of them that have value that aren't household names. There's nothing that says you have to use both rb's you took the 1st two rounds. There's so many other factors to consider

Sure, everyone has a bad game (btw, Morris was a late 4th/early 5th round RB), but if you drafted a player in the 2nd round, you should be starting him every week. In the weeks that you don't, you're wasting a 2nd round pick.

Thus far, has CJ Anderson looked like an every-week starter? Has Manning played well enough to lead you to believe that Anderson can turn things around? No, he hasn't. And that's why Anderson/Foster for L.Bell is a poor trade from the Bell owner's perspective.

by the time the playoffs reach for fantasy, it'll decide whether or not if that's a a good trade or not for the owner getting both foster/anderson. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Ha yes I did thanks to you and I think moestavern. He has been an absolute points generator the past 2 weeks. The only problem now is that Bell's suspension is done so now I have to think of something to do to make up for the points I'll be missing from Williams. :(

Dion Lewis basically dominated due to game plan, 73-of-86 snaps and it could change from week to week of course based on opponent/matchup.

Lewis won't last much longer if he keeps putting the rock on the floor.

Joique Bell played just 18 offensive snaps Week 2 against the Vikings.

    Need trade advice galore here.

    My team:

    QB - Romo, Mallet (lulz)
RB - CJ Anderson, Ronnie Hillman, Chris Ivory, Arian Foster, Justin Forsett
W/T - Demarius Thomas, Larry Fitz, Keenan Allen, Davante Adams

    My opponent:

    QB - Luck, Palmer
RB - Chris Johnson, Alfred Morris, Isaiah Crowell, Todd Gurley
W/T - Randall Cobb, Torrey Smith, Brandin Cooks, Eddie Royal, Delanie Walker

Starting rosters are: QB, RB, WT, WT, FLX

I need to trade for Carson Palmer to replace injured Romo and my opponent wants a "top flight" RB.

I've offered Arian for Palmer. Is that too much?

*Caveat - I've got a major bid in right now for Tyrod Taylor off of waivers. I'm sure to get him. He's currently a top 5 fantasy QB. Should I double up on Palmer and Taylor, or just put all my chips in on one? If so, whom?

Don't panic and give up Foster for Palmer. AZ has played cupcake defenses for 2 weeks in a row. That will change when they start getting into the divisional schedule. Plus Palmer is about as injury prone as any other starter in the league.

You are better off finding QBs to stream off the waiver wire than crippling your RB core which is pretty strong. Taylor is a Russell Wilson lite at the moment. He's not going to get into shoot-outs every week, but he is a good bet to put up 40-50 yards rushing each week which helps his value.

Thing is, I'm *very* high on Palmer and the Cards offense.

And with it being a 1RB league, I should be able to get Foster level production every week by playing the matchups between Anderson, Ivory, and Forsett.

I think Taylor could end up being a top 10 fantasy QB, no joke.

Speaking of injuries, Foster is not Mr. Reliable either. And groin injuries are notoriously tricky.

You're gambling on Foster not returning to form or getting nicked up again. Palmer if he stays healthy can be a top 10 fantasy QB, but if Taylor gets you anywhere near that, is it worth it to sell off a potential RB1? Ivory probably is your best sell-high bet right now unfortunately.

3 things to bank on here.

    Palmer being top 10.
    Arian being RB1 worthy.
    Taylor being top 10.

In terms of confidence level I have in each prediction, I rank them in that order. Probably 80/70/50.

Is the drop off from a (presumably RB1) Foster to Anderson/Ivory/Forsett as big as it might be from Palmer to Taylor (or otherwise)? I don't think so.

That's what I'm really banking on here. That in a 1RB league I can stay afloat without a productive Foster, but I am totally sunk without a top 10 QB.

    Dammit Moe. You're right.

This CJ Anderson/Ronnie Hillman committee has me nervous. If Foster comes back, even if the Texans offense struggles, he'll outproduce Ivory/Forsett week-to-week for sure.

I cannot believe I'm going to put my entire fantasy season in the hands of a Bills rookie QB.

I'd just let the league know I'm taking the best QB offer available for Foster. I like Palmer but I don't think even at his best he's ever been a top 10 QB (although he definitely might be there this year). Has he?
