Black Lives Matter is an honorable movement and is in no way racist

There is a BLM protest happening right now in Minneapolis blocking the light rail station at TCF Bank Stadium for the Vikings' game. They say they are protesting the treatment of some individuals, including someone who was autistic, by the MetroTransit police.

[Edit]Correction, the protest is marching down the light rail line from St. Paul towards the Stadium.

 

That will show those people. Keeping them from or at least making them late to the game they probably spent hundreds of dollars on tickets. That will surely make those people realize that black lives matter.

 

Depends on the state, but the result doesn't change. Black people get longer sentences than whites from both juries and judges.

 

My only point was that it was not cops...

 

And they cost the taxpayers money as they had to assign buses to run instead of the light rail. BLM should be sent the bill.

 

I don't know how much of a disruption the protest ended up causing but I think this was a bad call by the organizers. It has probably alienated much more people to the BLM cause than it has attracted.

I felt the same way about the protest at the State Fair.

Nice job GlenDice! You are helping create hate for BLM when in reality this guy was making it all up to get insurance money and started a GOFUND campaign that raised $6K. Well he got arrested for filing a false police report.

 

This isn't the first time Glen has been caught falling for false reports. Eventually you hope he will take responsibility for improving from where he's getting his information so that he can stop being so easily misled by folks.

If he falls for any more false reports he'll be all set to join BLM so long as he's also willing to be violent based on falling for false reports.

Of course they are. I was undermining the implication that cops are responsible for more jail time. They just arrest them. The rest of that outcome is determined by a jury of their peers or the judge, but some want to just come down on the cops.

 

Thoughts on the false police report?

 

It's just more stupidity. No group has a monopoly on it. I'm as against doing what that moron did as I am the morons who lied about the Furguson case. Fortunately this guy with the truck didn't influence anyone to riot or hurt anyone.

A black guy does something wrong: "BLM is the same as the KKK! - all of them are evil!"

A white guy does something horribly wrong trying to blame black people for a crime he faked: "Oh, heck man, that's just one bad seed. He probably is like all them evil BLM black people!"
