terrible offensive line dropped passes...our RB's as a result and way too much pressure on Mallet to throw the ball almost on every down
They didn't even saw him coming, they were defending catchers...he at least could've ran a bit more & then make the pass, huh?
There have been teams that have had awful starts to their season and end up getting to the playoffs... that's my little bit of optimism.. I think I'm done for the day.
after watching noodle arm Payton Manning lead the Broncos to a tie on Thursday, I cant help but say...This was a really crappy game to watch...Game ball goes to JJo...giving up a gift TD at the end of the 3rd... So far the defense, including JJ Watt has been outclassed by really overrated teams. Considering that the Texans are 0-2 (and have the easiest schedule in the NFL this season)...I wont lie, if our team starts 0-4, we really have to realistically consider tanking for yet another season.
You can stress about that or you can look at the fact that we still had a chance to tie the game at the end despite a poor defensive showing, an abysmal O line performance (and somehow only 1 sack), awful RB performance, and at least 8 dropped passes that should have been caught.
Need a Oline , he was off because he couldn't set his feet, Keenem would of made that last throw tho IJs

58 pass attempts is a ton for someone making their 3rd ever start. Either way, Mallett has to get better with his accuracy and WR's can't be dropping passes like they did today.

He threw the ball literally at the LOS. The moment he passes that line, they come straight for him. He is the slowest player in the NFL (not kidding). He was not going to score.
Mallett had to throw 58 times............58!!! Very few QBs will win games throwing that much. RUNNING GAME! that is the problem.
What sucks is if this season ends up tanking ( and there is a high likelihood of that ) then the Texans draft a rookie qb to be the future and will undoubtedly suck for the next years after this year since it almost always takes rookie qbs a min of 2 to 3 years to feel comfortable. Another 3 years (min) of mediocrity is very likely! Sweet .
