Epic collapse from the Astros. Free fall mode activated. About to get swept by the lowly athletics at home.

great! 2 men on base, no outs! Great chance to tie the game with Correa on the plate!

Ok.. Correa hit a ground ball for the force out on Springer.. Well, Lowrie has been okay lately, he just needs to get a pop out to score Altuve..

double play? Well, next inning then!!

the good news at this point is that they are getting to the point where if they are able to make the playoffs, it would require them to be the hottest team going into the playoffs.

saddest silver lining i could muster up.

It would be something different if this team was almost always in 2nd place in the AL West, trying but failing to overtake the team in first place and fail to make the playoffs. I can excuse us not making the playoffs and be pretty proud that the Astro fought so hard till the very end.

But the Astros have been in 1st place for 90% of the season! This is totally unacceptable on all levels of this organization to go through this kind of collapse when they were in control of their own destiny for so long!

Not even a big MLB fan so not the biggest Astros fan, but I watch occasionally.

This is just disgusting. I know the A's have had their number for whatever odd reason but with what is at stake here this is just pathetic. The only silver lining to this is that they are a young team.

This team doesn't have enough quality hitters.

Some nice guys at the top of the lineup, and a bunch of .200 slappys

When youre second to last in payroll, youre ceiling is mediocrity. They need to at leas need to double the payroll to be competitive.

Who woulda thunk Gray would still be in this game after the first inning? Time to get him out of there.

I wanna believe we can turn it around, but this is absurd. The implosion just continues to look worse and worse.

Are these clowns ever going to win a game? You gotta admit though, this whole collapse is kind of funny.
