Jones is worth a mid-second rounder in trade. He won't bring better than that in a pick. Perhaps him and the Knicks second rounder would get us a pick in the 20's of the first round. But there is not team going to give us a first rounder for an alleged big that isn't big enough to defend playoff bigs, is a poor rebounder, and can't shoot a jump shot.

Durant hopefuls, DMo is becoming RFA next summer, someone throws max at him first day of free agency, Rockets have 3 days to match. What does Morey do? And assume it's not necessary a max, but a big deal, do we know then already if Durant would come? I don't think you can talk with Durant until then and it's not like he'll be deciding fast. So does Morey let DMo walk and not jeopardize us financially by resigning DMo first in hopes to land Durant?

Wondered how this thread was still going, and see that holic has decided he will come in here to disparage TJones. Thank God, because that never gets old.

almost as fun as reading another tinman/tmac post.

the more you type about something the more it makes it true ya know.

You'll still be saying that 3 years from now, kinda like the Stromile Swift fans. Dude was out of the league and some here were still raving about his potential.

It's really enjoyable how they drag the debate everywhere. I don't read the non bball portions of this forum but I'm sure that they can probably find a way to relate a request for good restaurants back to Terrence Jones jumper.

Why didn't you say this about 3-5 pages ago when certain posters brought up Jones and had a discussion about him, including his trade value????? Yes, Typical YOLO.

What does get old is posters constantly bringing up Jones and then telling me and bobby not to say anything. Not only is that old. It's s-t-u-p-i-d. They want to propagate some absurd trade value for Terrence and expect us to not respond?????

There'll be plenty of you _OF's calling for Morey's head when he trades Terrence for pieces/parts.

Read back and see who drug the Jones debate in here. Jump on them.

Didn't predict that YOLO. You're back to your twisting. What I said is I wouldn't be surprised if Jones is out of the league within 2-5 years.

But I'm sure you'll keep distorting everything like you always do.

It's interesting because even though bballholic goes over the top often times, you all are trying to crucify him when he's posted only a few times in this thread.

The last couple of pages of this thread have mentioned Jones in a majority of the posts and none of us "D-Mo lovers" or whatever you guys are calling us have posted much.

There was an entire page IIRC where posters were circle jerking each other about how D-Mo missing the starting part of training camp obviously means Jones will be the starter.

That's a leap of logic and deserves to be called out. Hell, maybe Jones will be the starter, but the reasoning that's being provided is terrible. Obviously someone has to counter those assumptions.

That's the entire point of a forum...

I explained in the Eurobasket thread how a rfa can have an understanding with the team to time the contracts right, but for the rest of the questions noone really knows.
For all that we know Durant may not even be healthy this year. His injury is quite serious and usually reccuring when it comes to big men.
There's also the factor with Howard for the Rockets that makes things even more difficult.

Reading this thread sounds like people are actually have DMo wont be ready for camp. Did they forgot last season already? DMo bailed us out time and time again.

Plus the same old "Tjones is, at best, no better than the random black guy you choose for your team at a YMCA pickup game and find out he can't play well" attitude.

Well, I know T.Jones is better than that and so do many others. No need to take it there really. It's a matter of what T.Jones and/or his agent is seeking as far as that $15 million in salary.

Between Durant and Dmo as far as that goes, Dmo will walk.

More total bologna. Nobody here has ever suggested Terrence is that bad. All you are doing is trying to distort a very consistent record of my posts about Terrence telling you he is a below average NBA power forward.

So you bump a dmo thread and talk about a completely different player and now resort to 3-5 pages earlier to try and defend yourself lol. Makes a lot of sense. Yup typical.

Funny thing is as much as you keep hating on tjones and how much he's worth. His value is probably higher than dmo at this point.

Blah blah you always try and make it seem the posters are distorting your comments. If it's a common theme and belief amongst many around here, obviously it's not far off. You always get called out yet try to save yourself instead of admitting ridiculous comments
