    LOL
We love us our football coach, don't we?

He pretty much implied that the relationship with Hoyer had a part to play in his initial decision. Not just talent or the best player for the team. Now that it cost them a game, he changes and still manages to be a hero.

His willingness to realize his mistake, knock out the pushups he owes us, then make a change for the better is why I like him as a head coach. I was really souring on him due to his mistake at QB, but no one is perfect, I only ask that one recognize and fix mistakes when they happen.

The closest thing to a QB controversy that Kubiak had was Schaub and Keenum. Even O'Brien didn't want to deal with Keenum. Bill's favorites look different from Kubiak's but they both have favorites. Don't forget Kubiak started undrafted rookie Arian Foster over veteran Chris Brown and Ryan Moats.

Same here, but him being back in practice now tells me there's a pretty good chance he's ready to go next week.

amen..i don't expect perfection. but i respect the hell out of a guy who owns his mistakes and then fixes them. that's fantastic.

    Good to hear.

Unless they KNOW he's 100, I wouldn't play him this week or next.

Make sure he's ready and he would've only missed 3 games.

Question will be how will they really prepare for Mallet? It's not like they have much to go on. Mallet has only really played maybe a few games tops. Either way I wish I was watching this game, will probably be at work.

Yeah the blind loyalty was the fatal flaw of Kubiak. He never was able to admit his mistakes and kept pounding square pegs into round holes. In today's NFL you have to be able to adapt, and the first step to adaptation is realizing that something isn't working, and maybe you were the one wrong to believe in it in the first place.

I am anticipating a close low scoring game with two offenses that are far from a finished product and are missing key players and two defenses that are in the top third in the league. I see something like a 13-10 score that is really tough to call the winner on. It helps that the Panthers are the home team, but this one will come down to turnovers and who can avoid them.

Excited to hear about Arian...I say we roll with him as soon as we can. What exactly does it mean to wait until he's 100%? If he can practice and make his regular cuts, he's ready to go. Waiting an extra week or two does absolutely nothing in preventing or decreasing the chances of future soft tissue injuries.

He was 100% in training camp until he got hurt out of nowhere. With Arian, being 100% means absolutely nothing...and thinking an extra 7 days rest would help...it wouldnt.

The moment he can run at full speed and make cuts like he's used to, he needs to put on the pads and play.

I don't know what coach doesn't have this. If O'Brien had 5 years with Hoyer in which Hoyer was successful for at least a few of those years, he wouldn't have benched him after 3 quarters for an unknown commodity. Shoot, the QBs that O'brien have on his roster now are both QBs he worked with in NE. You can call them his square pegs lol. Loyalty isn't always a bad thing after it ha been earned.

With Brown not practicing, Griffin out, and Kuechly likely to play; the O line concerns me. I'm hoping they can perform better than Joekhl and the Jags did last week giving up 5 sacks.
