^^ i think part of the reason people respected Hinch at the beginning of the season is because the previous guy we had to compare him to was Bo porter
Can you read? I never said he was a bad manager... In fact in other threads I have complimented his ball clubs. Take your typical Cubs insecurity elsewhere. He is phoney, he kisses the ass of everything Chicago (the city) after doing the same thing in Tampa and anyone that is around him (he frequents the Northside) knows that he really wants to live in California.
The Astros have 9 home games left (including 3 against Texas) and finish the regular season with 6 road games. I think they're gonna have to win 7 out of those 9 home games and at least 4 out of the remaining six road games to have a decent shot of catching the Rangers. I'm doubtful that will happen. The Rangers seem to be hitting their stride at the right time. The Astros are wilting under the late-season pressure...it's a young team and some people were concerned about whether they'd stay mentally resilient over the long haul. I think it's more likely that the Astros will finish in the 2nd wild-card spot.

Haha OK bro. He's not a phony. What does him liking and kissing ass have to do with anything anyway? So weird to complain about something stupid like that. Like I said, stay a hater.
Hasn't gotten thick for the Cubs.... didn't get thick for the Nats a few years ago... Lots of other young teams that didn't choke to epic proportions.... Look at the Twins roster and compare it to the Astros... A choke is a choke.
Sure is! A choke is a choke is a choke as is a collapse is a collapse is a collapse. No other way to spin it, if it happens. ___________________________

Lance McCullers said the Astros are still a great team. I have 1 question: If we win the first game, maybe the series would had been completely different? Well, it all started with 2 very questionable moves by Hinch, first, taking Marisnick, who had a good game for a pinch hitter, in a tied game, late. you take your best defensive player, and a guy that hits righties better than lefties, why????? Second move, Kazmir was awesome, only 1 bad move, and only 93 pitches thrown. Why take him when he was pitching so good, at least 1 more hitter??? It was a lefty coming to bat. Those move May HAVE cost us the game, maybe not, but the moves were wrong and some of us say it when IT HAPPENED. Why give the ball to a bullpen that has struggled so much when your starter is doing so good? Hinch has been terrible, and he is responsible for this fiasco
Nobody's insecure. It's pretty clear what you are though. Aren't you one of the r****ds that wants Hinch gone? lol. You guys are above .500 in a year where noone expected it. Just because you have a collapse doesn't mean he hasn't done a good job. Fans like you only see one side of things. Most non-Astros POV, Hinch has done a phenomenal job. Stay mad.

So boneheaded.
He's probably not the only one. You don't think Evan Gattis is trying to chop wood? Or Carlos Gomez (though obviously not out there).
Stay insecure... Stay trolling the message boards of teams that you are not a fan of on the off chance someone says something about the Cubs that can be taken as a slight. Rumor has the Pirates message board said Kris Bryant's sagging eyes look like a pair of ball sacks.... Get on it, don't let that atrocity slide.
Well.... You have Gattis and Altuve thinking they are in a batting cage swinging at any and everything. You have Springer that thinks he is Dave Kingman whenever there is a runner in scoring position and it is a close game. You have McHugh and Dallas K giving up huge runs early in the game... You have a pen that lives to give up cheap runs late in the game.... A catcher that has morphed into Gattis at bat but has thrown out 1 runner all year. Maybe they sweep the Rangers in Houston and all the problems are swept under the rug.
