Nah, why? What did I say that gave you that indication? Or was that just more pandering to Conegrero to hit you up with another pat on the back?

Actually, you, me and others were right, and they were wrong.

Now, believe me, and i know you feel the same, we wanted to be wrong, because we wanted the astros to win the division, but we did not see our team playing good, and we say it.

They did not like it, and for that, we have 4 or 5 guys that are going to trash us every time we speak the truth, a truth they can't not hide, because right now, we are one of worse team in baseball (september 4 and 11 record).

They NEVER saw the problems WE SAW on this team.

But, let them trash us, i don't care, they look foolish trying to defend a team that is playing so bad.

For a long time, half of those guys have not talk baseball, and just insult guys. They come to this forum to insult people, PITIFUL.

if the rangers can play like this, they're winning the world series. but something tells me it's just against us. you have the right to the plate just as much as the hitter.

In the biggest series in years, the team has looked like a bunch of wimps. Showing no fight. This is why I have such a problem with Hinch because he's a big wimp. Hinch looks like he's about to cry on the bench. Gomez can be irritating but he at least would be showing some fight and spunk if he was out there. Sometimes you're just not good enough, but its hard to root for a bunch of wimps.

Know who doesn't make a cute couple? Hinch and a cap with a star on it.

Don't care about Cangre, but do care that we have "1, 2, potato" behind the plate and a robot in the dugout.

How long is Hinch signed for?

Would love to see what Biggio would do as skipper.

Who cares? If the owner won't eat his salary, then he doesn't need to own a billion dollar team.

No to Biggio. Need someone with experience that can manage a clubhouse.

After our top 3 in the lineup, we don't have an On Base % over .310 in the lineup

If you want to blame Hinch for this team not having a better record, go ahead

But he has done a great job creating the right environment for a young group like this to grow up and be successful. The overall talent level of this team is NOT above it's record, especially when you count the injuries

It's really easy to criticize a managers moves in baseball, because when you say he "should have done this" when he didn't, you don't have to worry about ever knowing if you were right or not, because what you are asking for never happened so it's easy to just assume you are right

Hinch has done a fine job, he has a team with good (not great) talent in a playoff position right now, and still within reach of a division championship.

But yea, with a defensive catcher as good as Conger, they should probably be better
