I think everyone knew when he had surgery that all of the reports would be positive of him working hard, being ahead of schedule and looking like a beast. Last year put a dark cloud over him and people are just tired of hearing the rhetoric. Show me don't tell me.
Brian T. Smith was saying that since Clowney is a LB, he expects opposing teams to send tight ends and fullbacks at him and force him to cover them instead of rushing the passer. Said we saw alot of that in his few games last year.

throwing a LT like a rag doll...kid has some potential...he had a mixed game today, but its things like this that has us hoping for something great things
A mixed day would have been a few plays where he had some jump and a few plays where he looked dead in the water. Under the circumstances, this was a MVP performance. Seeing him lose a 1x1 battle with Alex Smith wasn't the best but I would still consider that a win given that his ankles didn't literally break. You have to remember that the guy has only played 5 regulation games in the last year and 9 months (dating back to his last bowl game)
SPEED. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Clowney coming off the snap. Clowney looks like The Predator here, so big and fast <iframe src="https://vine.co/v/eFVPLAIbOMe/embed/simple" width="600" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe><script src="https://platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js"></script>
Damn I never saw detailed film analysis of Mario when he played here but I already feel like the clown is better than Mario due to his speed alone. Clown seems a lot better in the run game.
That's a very well-done video. A good reminder for everyone (myself included) that it's not always about sacks and tackles for loss, etc.
that breakdown was awesome, Clowney can only be stopped with deception, and he's already figuring it out he seems very smart and coachable
Mack looked great for the Raiders last week, really disrupted the Bengals offense. I mean I can see why some people thing he is the "next big thing".
