I'm not going to shake my cane at people with negative opinions, but some of you sound outright happy to see the collapse. And apparently one of you is a fan of a Dallas area sportswriter and feels the need to share his thoughts here? Maybe make this a new forum rule: invading DFW sports fans get banned immediately.
inexperienced team with an inexperienced manager/front office against a team that's "Been There Done That" over and over again including most of the teams contending in the American League pennant race as we speak. The Bullies are in Bully mode teaching the new kids is how this all looks at this stage
I could've copied and pasted without his name attached and the facts would've been the facts so what. I don't like the facts anymore than you do or anyone else here at the moment
I don't see many people giddy. The future is still bright, it is just very bitter sweet right now. A few moves done differently and we could be looking at a massive lead in the standings. I will say this, and I have felt this way for a long time, I think the Astros go get a massive bat to stick in the middle of the line up. Correa is a very good/great young player, but he isn't a top 5-10 bat right now. If you add a Joey Votto or another top tier bat to this line up and we would be very dangerous. No one in this line up you know will get a runner home from 3rd with less than two outs. No one you know will hit 35 homers or have a 400 OBP. Those guys are very rare but the Astros have the assets and I think they make that a top priority.
He's posting in the espn thread right next to Brian McTaggert who isn't saying too much different from a factual standpoint Brian McTaggart ⚾️ ✔@brianmctaggart Keuchel's line: 4 2/3 ip, 11 hits, 9 r, 9 er, 5 k's, 3 hrs, 91 pitches. 6:38 PM - 16 Sep 2015

Hinch really doesn't want to play Stassi at all does he? I know it is 9-1 but it would make since to PH Villar here.
