Tonight's game wouldn't be so bad if we'd won 1 f****n 1-run game the previous 2 nights.... but noooooo, we lose, lose, and f****n lose again.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's worthless. Nobody wanted to take it then, but now......
Shift with Keuchel on the mound does not make a whole lot of sense. He pitches down and away to everyone, no reason to play guys to pull.
this showing is embarrassing. they need to get in a fight even if it's 'kobe fighting' where you don't hit anyone.
Also seems a little absurd that Keuchel is still pitching. Both he and whoever is making the ultimate decision seem to be a little bit selfish when comes to the whole "going 6 innings" streak crap.
Just another list of things they'll revisit in the offseason. I've seen them shift less (or stop shifting certain players) as the season has gone on. Also, with Correa having elite range/arm, they can get away with a lot more leeway with him playing close to a natural SS.
I like our GM, I believe he is very good. However there have been mistakes he has made. The firstbase situation is a cluster $&@? on so many levels. They go with Carter way too long. They don't get Lind when he was very available. I know they thought they were going to get Alonso but it fell apart. They then get no one through waivers. They don't call up Reed or White. That is a massive screw up. That is on the front office and when they come down hard on Hinch, they need to look in the mirror and consider their own mistakes.
I could deal with this team collapsing SO MUCH BETTER if it wasn't to Dallas's freaking benefit. Any other team and I would just be like "oh well we were playing with house money" But it's Dallas...and it pisses me off.
I figure it's based on loads of spray chart data and recent pitching trends. They'll continue to shift if the numbers support it.
