Yeah I would rather he and others discuss the rainbows and butterflies that is the Astros. All is good and AJ Hinch is manager of the year. I'll take GARMification anyday over the Astros HINCHmen who can't see the forest for the trees.
Because what you wrote is absurd. Being critical or not critical of the Astros has nothing to do with your level of fandom.
If you're wondering why Carter is in the lineup tonight...He is 6-for-13 against Perez (.462), with a double and two home runs.

I will not get into a huge debate on this. People are well within their rights to criticize and some of the criticisms are warranted. Some people will find anything to complain about and harp on it over and over and that is where a discussion forum becomes counterproductive. I don't expect these posters to stop so I have learned to live with it and will try to speak from past experiences to not count any players, managers, GM's, etc. out until they have proven inept at becoming/building a contender. It is really only a handful of posters and I don't recall you being one that is constantly criticizing every move but maybe because I don't frequent as much as I used to. I believe these posters are fans of the team, be it Astros, Rockets, or Texans but they want to be right so bad that they become so biased that their whole point of view goes out the window. It is a shame because they do have good perspectives from time to time but are blinded by hate based on a 50/50 call in a pressure filled situation. If the Astros go on to blow the division I will be very upset but it will depend on the manner in which they blew the division. If Hinch and the Astros can right the ship and the Astros make the playoffs then people will still complain about Hinch and want him fired which I believe is unnecessary.
Tonight's game should be an easy victory for the Astros, the matchup is big time in our favor. Now, tomorrow's game is the one that is important. In another thread I said the Rangers will go as far a Lewis pitches. Well, literally it looks like is going to be that way. If we win tonight, then tomorrow's game will decide who is going to be in first place with only 15 games left. Tomorrow we will talk about that McCullers vs Lewis matchup, tonight is K, Go Astrosssss
Were the odds in our favor a few weeks back when we faced Greinke and Kershaw back to back (and we won)? Anything can happen on any given night.

K-zone had it right on the corner... the late sink made it seem lower than it was when it crossed the plate.
