Well no Gregerson for at least today and tomorrow I would presume.

Luke Gregerson just left the Astros clubhouse. My friend, did the person who you were talking to happen to appear in something resembling the object shown below?

Anybody understand why the hell they even bothered bringing Duffy up? They brought him up before the rash of injuries, and he's still hasn't seen the field after them. Not that I personally give two ****s about the PCL championship, but considering the FO made it sound like it's of importance to them, why take the league MVP away from them (especially after they said that no players will come up until their playoffs are over) if he's just going to sit on our bench?
Chris Carter is starting tonight.... Gotta get the big bats in the lineup now that the Astros are .5 out.
my friends, our best solution to avoid letting the bullpen killing our mojo, is to score 8+ runs? you ask yourselves whyyyy??? we have an over .600 record when we score more than 5 runs.
Do you honestly believe that the front office values minor league championship games over the well-being of the big league ball-club? Duffy is the ultra-emergency guy... along with Stassi. They're not going to see the field unless its absolutely necessary.
"Welp now I have to allow no runs and pitch 9 innings. Atleast Josh will catch the ball. No...not Hank...Welp no base runners either. I wanna get stoned."Dallas K in the clubhouse before the game
With all due respect, what you perceive as being old crotchety men is what I perceive to be people who have been through many ups and downs as a fan during many baseball, basketball and football seasons. Certain fans, and I won't name names, want to discuss their own agendas and constantly, and I mean constantly, repeat the same criticisms over and over again. It has gotten exhausting dealing with the constant criticism and "sky is falling" mentality that some GARM members have when in actuality nothing has been won or lost just yet as there is still time for the "sky is falling" posts but today is not that day my friend...today is not that day. Patience is a virtue and it has been lost on certain young people. Not all as I am 32 and I may be old at heart but young in age so please learn some patience and learn to ride the roller coaster that is the Houston sports seasons with grace, class, and perseverance like the greats before us. It ain't over until you see the kiss of death.
I said it a couple nights ago, but there's been so much ineptitude without Carter playing anyway that at this point I actually am in support of throwing him in there for a few games and praying for a miracle heater. Under what circumstances would it become "absolutely necessary"? I'm pretty sure we just saw a string of enough unlikely events happen in the 3 days he's been here (lowrie and marwin injured) that one would think would have gotten him in the lineup. And he's still not. I mean, are they that meticulous that they wanted him up here so urgently in case of a 25-inning game? They are showing us that Lowrie, Valbeuna, Marwin, Carter, and Villar (at minimum) would all have to be out of the lineup for him to see the field. It doesn't seem like an abrupt call-up was even close to necessary. If every single one of those injuries befell them, they could put him on a plane for the next ballgame. It doesn't seem like there was ever any path for him to get into the lineup.
Our friend Nick forgot to mentioned Feliz and VV. We don't see Hinch trusting guys like Stassi, Duffy, VV, Feliz, Tucker, is OBVIOUS, right???
And why may I ask did you take a direct shot at me? What did I say that offended you specifically? The same with mick fry.
