Don't see the aging and tired Spaniards stand a chance against France with the crowd on their side. Serbia versus France in the final.

Don't forget Italy. Who knows what happens. It's one match they may hit everything and win the Serbs. Ofc the Italians can also lose vs Lithuania today.

I just hope the final isn't Spain Serbia because the dilemma between having to cheer for Teodosic or Flopespagna is too difficult.

That was such a flop. A lot of times people exaggerate with "He flew across teh court." but dude really flew across the court trying to sell that.

Yep, no more Italy. Never believed in them. Soft, no rebounding, no defense. Lithuania isn't as strong as they used to be, so I don't see them beat Serbia - with our man Motiejunas they might have had a chance.
Still going with France versus Serbia, should be a good one.

I'm fake, made that prediction without even seeing a single game of Spain. People should just ignore what I say, I'm always wrong, unless it's D-Mo or Durant related. Both gonna get the max and only one from Houston.

Damn I missed it. Was it a good match?
I was never convinced by Italy , but Lithuania was a bad team. I think the matchup is what gave them the win, since Italy has no center and no interior defence while Lithuania had Valanciunas beasting. (about time!).

Now it's all about Spain and France to see who goes to the final. My money on France but there is the pressure of the host and who knows.

    someone got their account hacked.

Well today is probably the best Eurobasket day.
16:00 CET greece - latvia (If Greece loses they deserve to go home on foot)
18:30 CET Czech - Italy (wouldn't be surprised if Italy lost after yesterday's heartbreaking loss)

    And the main dish
    21:00 CET France- Spain
    Allez les Bleus.
I will also not be opposed if the refs show a little homecourt advantage, or more than a little. What goes around comes around.

Population, just as a fun fact:

    France 67,063,000
    Spain 46,439,864
    Serbia 7,209,764
    Lithuania 2,898,062

Behind Antetokounmpo...10 minutes per game...didn't play against Spain

Crazy how Kostas is not getting playing time. Shows you how deep Greek team is and how not wrong I was to say they were the favorites to beat Spain.

And why Luigi Datome (?) from Pistons is not playing for Italy? I saw him cheering on the bench. Guy with long hair. Is he injured?

yes. But he is in bad form and his confidence is non existant. Even the tv commentators made a point in saying all the time in national tv. He almost broke the basket in a friendly in an outburst-dunk.
Wouldn't be surprised at this point if the Nuggets cut him, though probably will give him a chance in training camp to battle it out with the other players.
He was GA's backup and should have been able to be more in the rotation infront of the other forwards (Perperoglou, Kaimakoglou).

Gigi got injured in the second I think group match and was a ? to come back in the knock outs but didn't make it in time before they lost.
You were wrong because you didn't think that Spain has Greece their customers and their superb acting skills. Also the coach used a very small rotation and made stupid decisions.
Now both Spain and Greece are very old and will start to get younger so hopefully history will change from now on.:p

Saw just the OT. Italy choked big time, made it easy for Lithuania. No defense, careless turnovers, shot selection like in minor leagues. Well deserved trip home.

Spanoulis announced his retirement from the national team. Antenotkoumpo era to begin.

Well basically so far three players retired today(1/3 of the rotation). So now greece is much weaker with no center no leader and no closer and probably will fight tooth and nail to advance to the olympics. But it was about time. I think the coach may resign too.

Maybe some spaniards will retire too. (Rudy plz).
