Delgado has really sucked it up lately... a disgrace to this country and the Astros. I bet he's also responsible for the "something tells me I'm into something good" and "the sun comes up" commercials.
We have the arms, VV and Feliz, but never used them in the correct situations. Hinch prefers to give the ball to the guy throwing 90 mph fastaball than a guy throwing a 96 with movement.
Hard to debate any of the above that's for sure...ridiculous. How do we see all this and Astros management does not...insane
Of course... then again, every loss can probably be traced back to some sort of stupid idiotic move. I'm sure Hinch should just say "its on me" in the press conference...then he should go give his team a pep talk.
Well they pitched their ace tonight and we have our two best coming up. They are pitching some of their mediocres so Stros have a chance the next two nights if they can hit
No some losses teams are just better, played harder etc...but when you actually HELP the other team win being the manager not learning from past mistakes that's a different matter all together which in my opinion is what we have going on with Hinch
Did I? LULZ LOL!! But seriously, Wade Phillips needs to be brought in to be Hinch's assistant... in fact, Hinch needs better assistances on the bench.
i have to admit, the guy has transcended annoying, and gone so far past it that i actually laugh at some of his short posts that i actually read. he's going full rain man with maddon. maddon, maddon, gotta have maddon. can you imagine this team with the head coach of the san juan cangajores in place of hinch???
LOL I feel sorry for Denver...they got NO IDEA what's about to happen! LOL I can't wait to hear kubes say "This one is on me" lol Wade will have that stoned faced baby huey look with that whiny voice at some point in the season....you watch! ROFL
Oh hell, I left for a while and just jumped to the last page. Good to know you and Nick are reading everything so I don't have to. Relief pitchers are a strange animal, and I don't know anything about Harris, but his pitches have looked flat in his last 3 or so outings. I hope he's healthy.
20 is too many. He has made foolish decisions in over 20 games but in a lot of cases the Astros won regardless or even the higher likelihood move may have failed as well. It is hard to say, if I had to guess it would be 3-5 games lost based on his decisions that a good manager would have not made. I simply do not like his lineups, his handling of pitchers or his pinch hitting/late inning replacement decisions. Hinch seems fine at keeping his team on the same page and working hard. Young players have progressed under him as well and he deserves credit for that. Still he seems to have zero aptitude for strategy.
I had said he probably has Asperger's, in a serious manner, and my post got deleted. So watch what you say.
Anyways, if the Astros can go 2-2 then it's all a WASH...heck with all the Angels hard work they only gained 1 game over the weekend...so shall see what happens
