93 pitches, 53 strikes. May have been able to get one more inning or so but obviously not guaranteed.
And yet Sipp doesn't seem to get lefties out.... You see how many times you can go back and forth with this? I wanted Qualls... if only because if his stuff is on, its very hard for lefties to elevate his sinker (and he'd also be the most likely induce-a-DP candidate).
He was great all night long. 7 innings, 5 hits, 1 walk. Only 2 runs were earn, and the hit by Fielder before the homer was a seeing eye single. We have a terrible manager, where is our friend that "loves this team" and loves Hinch???????
Exactly ! Hinch makes some of the stupidest moves I mean that's a no brainier to pitch Sipp against Fielder
Another one-run loss. Then folks can spin away. Another one-run loss, so unluckky man! Rangers are so lucky! They aren't good, just lucky! That's okay. This year was house money! Nothing was expected of them! They have the next 5-10-20 years! They'll just get them next year, no worries! /Half of Astros fans.
That was so predictable. Why isn't Hinch letting Feliz pitch? The usuals (Harris, Neshek, Qualls, etc.) are failing right now and can't be trusted. Feliz has been great when given the opportunity to pitch. Hinch is going to be one of the biggest reasons for the collapse if the team crumbles.
I've felt all season long that the Astros bullpen was overrated, and that they were overachieving and would fall back down to earth later in the season.
