My gut says it will be Mallett. BoB has an ego but it's not big enough to basically admit that he was wrong. He wants to see Mallett have a good week and it's his job to lose again.
Just have to get better everyday. Come to practice everyday and prepare like a starter. Show that consistency. Prove that you want it. Like, there is no more "almost good enough." Be consistent everyday. Ask yourself what you can do to get better to help this team win. Because it's all about winning here OK? Show us that consistency every day and just try to be the best teammate you can.
Makes sense, if you announce Hoyer now the whole city revolts. If you announce Mallett now, the other team can start to game plan against him. There's not really much incentive to naming a QB now.
Well at least he'll keep the Panthers guessing as to our QB. Advantage Texans. I like it as long as it's Mallett.
This. If he knows now who the QB is but won't announce it until game day, sounds like Hoyer. At this point what's the point of Hoyer? He's not the Texans future, so let's see what Mallett has to offer and if he sucks go for a high draft pick and get a QB. Stop the band-aid approach and get a damn QB!!
Only advantage this team has is J.J. Watt. Nothing more nothing less. Neither QB will make a difference. .500 Football here we come.
BoB on Randy Bullock's comment about him missing the extra point. Randy said "That's what the league wants" BoB's reply. "I don't know how Randy knows what the league wants, he needs to worry about putting the ball in the uprights and that is it." Hahahahaha
Right now, the Texans need all the advantages they can get....as much as we want to know who the starter is, the team is better off not revealing it to the Panthers.
Sounds like it's Mallets time to shine Mentioned that he would play the guy who will help the team the most. He said he benched Hoyer as he felt someone else would help the team more.
Hope Mallet doesn't blow it again. The guy has more potential than Hoyer but let's not kid ourselves about him.

This makes sense. BoB cites consistency for picking Hoyer. As long as Mallett doesn't crap the bed this week, he's the starter.
