He was not headed back to his car - how did GZ get so far away from his car if that was the case????

He did follow him - that was pretty well accepted by the Jury.

NBC didn't edit it out of context - the court threw the lawsuit out as frivolous.

You just believe what you want to believe - which is not the truth. YOu can't even see that you are racist! It's amazing!

Doing something that a police dispatcher says you don't have to do isn't illegal. Assaulting someone is. Guess who did that?

It matters when a 911 dispatcher tells you not to chase someone and you do that. It shows that you have intent outside of what's necessary.

If some scary big guy was chasing me I might turn and confront them as well And if I saw them as potentially dangerous, I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself proactively.

GZ was the instigator. TM was being chased and was scared of GZ. TM tried to defend himself by standing his ground. GZ shot him. These are all true statements.

If TM had the gun and shot GZ - then yall would be crying about how TM is a criminal and should get life in prison instead of saying if GZ had just listened to the dispatcher he'd still be alive. It's such bull you spew out. Really ridiculous.

Go read the timeline and stop wasting my time. He was on the phone talking to the dispatcher when he was in the car, got out and followed Martin and then the dispatcher asked if he was following him, that's when he was told not to follow Martin any more.

He did follow him.... No doubt, it's whether he continued to follow him and even if a juror did think he continued to follow him that doesn't give Martin the right to assault anyone.

Yeah, they did. Only an idiot wouldn't agree. Wait....you are an idiot.

And you keeping tossing out crutches and lies that warp reality to the point for people that you pretend to care about, wind up putting their lives in danger solely because of paranoid delusion. You preach hate over and over. You should be ashamed of yourself but you are too dumb to realize that.

If you call this guy, big and scary. You, sir, are a wimp. Zimmerman was 5-9 170... Jeezus, you will stoop to exaggerating about anything....

Who told him that he didn't need to follow Martin...

Where did you come up with this nugget? I've never heard anyone claim that GZ turned around and headed back for his car, care to substantiate this claim or is it an assumption like so many of Bobby's missives?

    I never said it was.

We just don't know. You have as much actual knowledge of the event as I do. What we do know, without doubt or question, is that GZ followed Martin, even after being told by a police dispatcher to discontinue the pursuit. Then an altercation happened resulting in Martin being shot.

You have your assumptions about the situation, but it is just as plausible that Martin confronted Zimmerman without assaulting him in any way, with the escalation and aggression belonging to the armed vigilante in the situation. Then, since GZ picked a fight with a bigger, stronger person, found himself on the losing end of the fight, drew his weapon, and shot an unarmed teenager.

Didn't that happen during a police chase? The shooter was no doubt a savage.

You, however, are reaching. And you know it.

He's definitely a wimp. Couldn't take a 17 year old skinny kid in a fight, so he had to shoot him.

You support the Police. When a cop does something wrong you don't throw all the Police under the bus.

But you do that to BLM. Which demonstrates how much of a racist you are.

Not gonna argue that GZ couldn't take Martin in a fight. Problem for Martin was GZ was well within his right to use lethal forceful stop the attack. That's why Zimmerman walked.

So you think all cops are racist murderers because of the actions of a few? Yeah right.

GZ lied and everyone knows that much. He lied under oath as he said he was near his car and getting back in car - but the shooting happened NO WHERE NEAR HIS CAR.

Dude was lying. Why? Because the truth is he chased down Martin and was more involved in the fight than he is willing to admit.

The lies about Martin are crazy. He wasn't under any drug whatsoever. Just a kid going home. Got killed by an overzealous guy.

And I like the lie about him being 170lbs - he was 200lbs. That's over 40lbs heavier than Martin.

I am afraid it is you who doesn't understand the law. You cannot claim self-defense if the attack you are defending against is a lawful one. So Martin's right to attack Zimmerman was absolutely an issue. Florida's self-defense law is based on common law self-defense, without a duty to retreat.
A law allowing otherwise would be ridiculous.

I think the problem here is that Lou is just a simpleton. We should probably just pity him and move on. Numerous people have spelled things out for him in just about as simple terms possible and he still fails to follow the most basic of conversations.

He is the enemy of logic and common sense.

Yes TM had a guy who was scary chase him. When the confrontation occurred, GZ was threatening him so TM engaged in self-defense. Could TM have taken other actions? Yes obviously he could have kept running. But he decided to face his pursuer who in him mind had mal-intent.

It is possible that TM was acting lawfully under the law and his attempt to incapacitate GZ was a defensive attack. GZ might have pulled the gun on TM anyway and shot him - you simply do not know how much of a threat GZ was. You simply choose to believe his side.

    Why?

One side is white, the other is black. Surprise surprise.
