guess there is something in that giant glory hole that makes the opposing coaches go brain dead. your team is gashing it with the run, keep running. don't get cute.
Victory from the jaws of defeat...WHY DO NFL teams continue to pass at the 1 yd line WTF??? RUN THE darn ball. Thank god Im not a Giants fan...sick loss
LOL. Choosing to pass the ball was moronic....and not taking the sack was even worse. Take a knee...don't stop the clock lol.
Or after he throws it go for it on 4th. Romo would have had to go an additional 27 yards for the win. FG is just a tie.

You would have to be a god damn genius to think like that in the heat of battle. TC should have just called the run.
Thought process: If they score and kickoff, Dallas probably takes over at the 20. 80 yards to go for TD. If they go for it on 4th and don't make it, Dallas only has to go 65-70 to send it to OT. First is harder to do, so they score and kickoff.
I respect Tom Coughlin a lot but he choked that one away by throwing the ball (or at least you tell Eli to take the sack) and their D was woefully unprepared defending that last drive. Coughlin has lost his fastball. That was a pathetic giveaway.
Unless the ball is at the 1, you have to kick the FG. Eli should NEVER have thrown the ball away. What a dumb dumb dumb play. If he took the sack, FG still would have been easy and 40 fewer seconds on the clock probably saves their bacon.
Second option is probably harder - starting from the 1 has all sorts of disadvantages - less space to back up and scramble, an offensive holding call or sack is a safety, etc. And if you do move the 70 yards, you still have to make a long field goal.
