    how do we know he is even B.O.B's type. Still probably draft clowney for that reason. And let's say bob mcnair wants 'marioto', Fitz would still be starting.
    coming into this season, hoyer is still brought in and still out competes marioto. all coaches can be stubborn about their preferences.

    Mariota is going HAM. Yikes, the Texans will be having to deal with this force and Andrew Luck for the next 10 years.

    Better find a QB ASAP.

    BE-SF fans haven't had anything to be happy about in a REALLY long time, they'll take what they can get. Also, it'll make it that much funnier when he falls back down to earth.

    I'd rather him just always suck.

    TENN is the worst team for a HOU fan to be successful.

    I still SMH at any Houstonian who cheered for TN in the Superbowl.

    Beyond the results and just watching him play he looks special. He could end up sucking, but I think he is a legit franchise qb.

    A man with some reason. Anybody watching Mariota today make the throws he made and not seeing his potential are just sore about their own team.

    What he demonstrated:
    Poise
    Accuracy
    Quick Release
    Threw into tight windows
    Threw to the open man
    Throws an easy ball to catch, tight spiral
    Command at the line of Scrimmage and Huddle
    Strong Arm
    Threw over instead of into the fading DE
    Ease Under Center
    Moved the ball down the field on almost every drive.
    Gave his WR chance for YAC

    What we don't know:
    Can he throw the deep ball with accuracy

    Negatives:
    2 sacks, one where he was at risk for dangerous fumble. Sometimes holds the ball too long in own end.

    Also: The Titans really only have 4 WR on the team because none were good enough to keep, mostly TE's. So that says something too.

    Overall that was impressive. He looked like Montana and Brady out there minus the long ball.
