Defense was solid in 2nd half.
    Watt was Watt
    Clowney looked explosive
    Mallett

There were enough positives to not jump off the ledge. Colts looked bad. Jags look like the Jags. Carolina is a winnable game.

    Has BoB realized that though?

He seems to learn faster than Hinch.

stay positive. look on the brighter side, if the t*** lose, we will be leading the division. Luke will not play next week due to the concussion protocol and hoyer will not give away 2 gimme tds!

I mean Hoyer did earn the right to be starting. Mallet, for whatever, reason didn't get it done in practice. Hoyer was on a short leash and he got yanked earlier then I have ever seen a QB get yanked that earned the starting position. Hoyer player 3/4 of a game and was gone.. that is a really short leash IMO

Depends. Knowing how stubborn some coaches are Hoyer could still be the starter.

Totally agree. Some coaches will stick with the bad decision forever.

Even though Mallett will probably the starter for the rest of the season unless injured, I don't have a good feeling about him either. He's like a dumber version of Drew Bledsoe, strong armed guy who makes stupid throws at times. Hoyer should be entrenched as the backup/journeyman qb that he is suppose to be.

Blame Hoyer lets blame it all on Hoyer because he's the easy one to blame. Obviously he sucked and I don't want him starting, but if the refs called at least one of those 2 key PI that would've been a touchdown.

Also it doesn't help that he was getting terrible support from the running game and offensive line.

But also ignore the fact tha our defense got carved up on screen plays all game long.

No lets just blame O'Brien on starting Hoyer which was apparently the only reason we lost.

He's a guy who got beat out by Hoyer and Fitz.

Just wait and see I guess.

Not sure why BOb hasn't gotten a long term solution

If Hoyer was on a short leash, he would have been yanked at half time. Being pulled with 6 minutes left in a game is NOT being on a short leash.

If it got Hoyer out as the starter the loss was worth it. Bill needed to see with his own eyes just how bad Hoyer is in real game situations

If Hoyer is marched back out there next week I'm through. I would know that coach Bob is a total idiot and the team is in awful hands and not worth watching.

The INT and fumble Hoyer gave up inside the Cheifs 20 aren't mentioned in this post. That's why we lost.

Running game had 20 carries for 92 yards (discounting Mallet's run). That's certainly not 'terrible'.

Unfortunately, he's our backup. Nevertheless, I'd rather have a gunslinger mentality who makes mistakes than a guy who is afraid of his own shadow.

Hoyer just doesn't have an NFL starting QB mentality.
