    All of this said, if I have to hear Ashby and crew complain about balls and strikes one more time I'm going to listen to the other broadcast. I'm getting annoyed. It's like 5x a game now. It could be a drinking game. Find something new to talk about please or just dial it down a bit.

    Interesting. Villar with a start at 3rd over Valbuena.

    I don't understand Tucker not getting any run. He has 2 plate appearances in the last week - he walked and singled.

    Really just an organizational screw up. I thought Duffy should have been called up Sep 1 at the latest. He provides coverage at 1B and 3B, plus he should excel against lefties, something the other options do not.

    Full-blown panic mode. Pulled him away from the prestigious PCL World Series, which they wanted us to think was so important for the organization.

    I'd think there's a chance he's our every day starter the rest of the way if he performs.

    I actually wouldn't mind seeing Duffy at 3B, Marwin at 1B and Lowrie at DH.

    Marwin has played really well this year, but I think Duffy is gonna be a better hitter overall.
