    Good night for the Astros
    Twins loss
    Yankees loss twice
    RAngers loss

Looks like Angels will win, and Astros will go 3 and 7 in september

If others continue to lose, we will make it, go astros

    Is anybody else in here?

Either rename this thread "Rangers live updates"... or "Deep thoughts from Cangrejero51"

Well at worst, the Astros would still be 0.5 games ahead (though tied at losses) entering the Ranger's series.

yes, for me is more important what Twins do, we play too many games on the road, 11 to 9 home games, so i don't think we are winning the division, but we can sure win the wild card.

I sort of disagree. The Rangers, Astros, and Angels will be beating themselves up over the last few weeks. Meanwhile they Twins only have 2 more series with contending teams (KC who is falling apart & the Angels). Basically, I think they will end up with a record better than the AL West division winner.

That would mean the Astros' only hope is to win the division.

Cleveland is playing very good and white sox has some good players. KC is playing bad they need to win some games as Toronto could finish first and they need home field advantage.

Well Astros, today you need to win as Yankees and Twins (hit Sele hard) are winning.
Today we have to do it the old way, WINNING, instead of the other one losing

Well, i am giving the game to the Angels, so we are 3 and 8 in September.

We are choking and looks like we are not going to win the division. Lets see if we can win the last WC spot.

Tucker and Lowrie changed this game, so is 4 and 7 so far in september.

    Letter to Hinch:

Tucker needs to play more, sit Gattis, please.
If you need to give a day off to Lowrie, play him at DH then, but don't take him when a lefty is pitching as he kills southpaws.

Hinch, if you are leading by 2 in the 9th, take Villar from 3b, he is awful defensively.
Small things make the difference, and because of it, we lose so many 1 run games.

Only change this offense needs is less Gattis and more Tucker.

One important thing, Springer looks like he is now ready to carry us.

I would like to see Correa hitting 2nd and Altuve third, i want protection for the 20 year old guy, Gattis is not going to give it to you. Altuve does NOT need protection, he swings at everything

    Astros vs Rangers

    Kazmir vs Hamels
    McHugh vs Perez
    K vs Lewis
    McCullers vs Gallardo

This is a very tough series, if we win 3 of 4, we are going to make it very difficult for the Rangers to catch us. If we split, still a very close fight for the rest of the year.

We are facing 2 lefties, we have some question marks here, will Gomez play? Will Castro play?

Lets say Gomez plays, this should be our lineup:

    1. Springer RF
    2. Altuve 2b
    3. Correa SS
    4. Gomez LF
    5. Lowrie 3b
    6. Tucker DH
    7. Gonzalez 1b
    8. Conger C
    9. Marisnick cf

    vs RHP

    1. Springer rf
    2. Altuve 2b
    3. Corres SS
    4. Lowrie 3b
    5. Gomez CF
    6. RAsmus LF
    7. Tucker DH
    8. Valbuena 3b
    9. Conger C

Gattis should play only in 2nd game, as Martin Perez struggles BIG TIME vs righties. That lineup must be all righties.

Just read that Gomez is going to Houston for some text so probably will not play on Monday.

    Lineup:

    1. Springer RF
    2. Altuve 2b
    3. Correa SS
    4. Lowrie 3b
    5. Rasmus LF
    6. Gonzalez 1b
    7. Gattis DH (Not Tucker in this one because we should not have many lefties)
    8. Conger C
    9. Marisnick CF

Gomez injury, against these lefties gives us a problem.

Not good news regarding Gomez. Maybe Marisnick saves us runs Carlos wouldn't have.

And why did you put Altuve 2nd when you prefer him 3rd?

Because I know Hinch does not think outside the box. Actually with a lefty I would not mind gonzalez second and Altuve 4th but Hinch would never do that.

4 and 8 in september, and Texas tied us in loss column with 3 games to play in Texas. We should win one of the 3.

    Hinch out managed, AGAIN.
