Was a good pitch.... and he was spotting it pretty well on the corners last inning as well (control is there).

Gonna be hesitant to burn bullpen arms in tie games on the road, and Harris can go two (and its not like Neshek/Fields/Qualls are all in a great groove as it is).

agree with first sentence. couldn't disagree more with the first part of the 2nd sentence in a game this big, but i'm fine with them leaving him in.

The pitches drilled by Calhoun and Trout were mistakes. Even pitches with good location to Pujols and Murphy were hit fairly well.

If anybody was going to pitch 2 innings, I would have preferred Velasquez.

Most people respond to the specific content in said "posts" and the corresponding thread topic, not use each post as an excuse to try and make some sort of 15-year referendum on each individual poster.

Anyway, about to move to 6-18 in one-run games on the road. Absolutely comical. Would be one of the most epic collapses in Houston sports history, even if folks want to pretend it's "house money" or whatever.

I though Velasquez was going to go 2, did not wanted to say anything to give Hinch a break.
I agree with you, Harris was hit hard in the 7th, and then the homer in the 8th.

If that is the stat, it should start moving back to the average soon.

Well, Harris was already in... wasn't even thinking about VV. Was mainly thinking about Qualls/Fields (and Neshek if either of them got into trouble).

Pretty much resigned to the fact that if any Astros bullpen pitcher gives up a run, its the manager's fault.

Hasn't Harris been one of the more consistent, higher performer bullpen pitchers all year?

No indication that he didn't have his normal stuff or control... Angels were just finding a way to get a bat on it tonight.

I hate that a caught stealing in the 1st inning likely played a huge role in this game... that's two nights in a row of mediocre starting pitching they've let off the hook.

I feel the 'Stros lineup has the worst balance with their swings compared to any other team I can recall, and especially this year. I honestly do not remember so many different batters consistently losing balance this badly on swing and misses.

So, you're saying Mr. Miyagi should be the manager?

Shame that we couldn't take advantage of the Rangers losing. Angels now down to 3.5 too.

    Ugh.

Another road series lost, well, that is expected. Can we win 1 tomorrow?
