Santiago is good, Weaver is not. When we hit, we don't pitch. When we pitch, we don't hit. When the starter does the job, the relievers don't. There is only 1 constant thing, we don't win series on the road. I am not expecting wins on the road, i am surprised if we win those games.
These lineouts will become hits... then runs. Pitching just needs to hold serve. McCullers appears to have settled down.
Santiago has a very good ERA, and a nice whip (they just don't get hits on him) His only problem is WALKS and some homers. I think he is as good as McHugh, maybe a little better. And, he was an All Star this year.
Tonight Correa got a walk, great defense, work the count again, and hit a homer. Very good game for Correa. Big K to Fielder with 2 men on bases. 7 complete, Strangers losing 5 to 1.
Anaheim, Oakland, & Seattle are all traditionally harder to go deep in. We need another trip to Denver, then those balls will be flying out.
Reminded me of that Tucker misplay earlier this year that he stepped in on and then just watched it go over his head. Jake steps in, falls when he stops to go back and still manages to make the play.
