Perhaps you shouldn't assume that everyone else has the racist views you have....

Most people either think that all lives matter, or that no lives matter. You are the exception.

So you are on record that he should have even faced a judge?

A pretty insane view, you can kill someone and not even worry about a trial. Maybe you've seen too many westerns.

this reverse racism trope is amusing: it's like saying anything that highlights a disparity in between the sexes is automatically misogynist

I don't think the words mean what you think they mean.

    1) the paper thin case the prosecution was forced to put up in court was exactly why no charges were brought against Zimmerman.

    2) the implication that the rest of us don't think black lives matter is racist, so are the actions of many of its Supporters and the look the other way attitude of those in the movement for what they think is a noble cause. Again there are more white people getting killed by the cops

    3) in cases where the police don't face face judgement, you would have a point. But when people in the group are rioting, threatening violence and committing murder over hoodies and hands up don't shoot straw-man incidents, you lose all objective support. Someone within that movement needs to have the balls to stand up and focus the masses on incidents where the cops were in the wrong.

Appreciate your passion but don't agree on all points

I wonder how their brains allow themselves to twist and contort into thinking what they do. It's like logic doesn't seem to work for them.

It would have been a pretty good spot for a no-bill. There was basically no case against him, it was nothing more than a waste of taxpayer money.

If you understood the laws that were in question in that case, you'd probably have a better understanding as to why they shouldn't have wasted the time or money for a trial.

Nope, predictably you are wrong yet again. I'm not arrogant enough to think my life means any more than anyone else's, no lives truly matter.

1.) I can agree on this, but a big part of the Martin case and my only point was that no matter what Zimmerman had to face a judge.

2.) There are more white people in the country. So this means that if you are black you have a better chance at being killed by a cop. Also the legislation that they want passed isn't affirmative action. It is something that applies to ALL americans. BLM isn't against white people, it's against police brutality. There would be a point if they were asking for some kind of leeway.

3.) The problem is though for some people no matter what the case they always see it as justified. They take any little thing and that is justification for them. Cases like Tamir Rice are even justified.

don't bother, instead of addressing discrimination and challenging their racist ways, they much rather just call you a racist and say things like it's racist to say that a black life matters as much as a white life.

The current theory being put out among wingnuts is that Louis frakahn is the leader of the black lives matter and is orchestrating this to help Obama get civil unrest to stop elections.

So much for your "I have no sympathy for criminals" line earlier, it seems you do have sympathy for one.

So now you see Granville, some people are actually fine with black people being killed and not even facing a trial for it. Yes Bobby there was a case for it but we know all you see in the case is Martin attacking Zimmerman and nothing else apparently.

So you have people saying #Blacklivesmatter and you have this one guy Bobby whose saying Martin didn't even deserve a trial. That's how little his life mattered to Bobby. It wasn't worth the time or money...but Nolivesmatter...yet he's not neutral at all on this. If he believed in his own stance of nolivesmatter he wouldn't give a ____ about Zimmerman being guilty or innocent or any of these issues. You have a odd way of showing apathy Bobby.

Which criminal are you talking about?

Again, if you understood the law, then you'd understand why the Martin case wasn't worthy of going to trial. It wasn't about the "worth" of one's life, it's about the merit of the case. There was simply no case against Zimmerman. If there was a legitimate case against him, then I'd understand a trial, but with the way the laws are on the books, they never had any chance of convicting him for anything given the circumstances. He was attacked and he shot his assailant.....in Florida that's completely legal.

    1) Unfortunately for your position on this charges don't get filed without sufficient evidence to support the charge. That's how it should be.

2). I'm not sure percentages really matter here it's about unjustifiable loss of life

    3) that's why it's even more important not to use
obviously false accusations of wrong doing as part of the rallying call.

I do respect what you for what I believe is your honest intentions here. However, the ship you initially boarded was soon hijacked by pirates. Time for someone to kick off the Pirates and set sail with a better plan.

I don't think Granville or Bobby in particular racist. I usually define racist myself as someone thinking another race is inferior to them and hating other races.

There are a few I do think are this way, they say certain things that bonafide racist do say. One poster who believes in the early psuedoscience of there being 3-5 races is probably a racist.

I think a lot of people stereotype though and that's not the same thing. I mean it is sometimes a VERY fine line between it. Also that people are bias but not racist. A bias like wanting to see people similar to you succeed over others. It technically isn't racist and I think this is a lot of what you see today.

I think the main thing is that, as a black person. IDGAF about any random white person being racist or whatever. I care about the system though and the system working fairly. Like, this idea that black people care about white racist is false. How many counter KKK protest do you see going on? Most of those that do counter protest the KKK are not even black.

One thing that always has to be asked is this. If you truly believe people are equal then why are black people in america less well off? That's the conundrum there for them. You either believe that they have not been given a fair shake or you believe there is something inherit in them that that prevents further success.

I suppose it all goes into what you define as a racist. To me, it's supporting or reinforcing discriminatory treatment - whether it's a system or in one's personal life.

Do I think those clowns discriminate against blacks personally? I think there is a good chance they do - but not consciously. I think they may look at certain blacks with suspicion - or assume things about someone based on their race. They may not trust them as much for instance. Doesn't mean they aren't capable of trusting a black person - if they dress in the right way and so on.

The way I think they are racist is in supporting a system that clearly had racist elements. They excuse those elements and instead blame the victims of excessive violence or unjust violence. There is no questioning of that system and that maybe there is a systemic issue with treating blacks differently - not by policy but simply because it has become acceptable.

I think they need to be called out on that - they are reacting by crying and kicking and screaming, but I think that's good that is happening. We shouldn't be afraid of calling out racism. Racism is not about hate. It's about fear and ignorance and indoctrination which can lead to hate.

Don't remember the details but it sounds like a grotesque tragedy... or do you think the cop was out hunting a black life?

Did anyone see the video of the BLM leader who underwent police training and killed innocent people in every instance? Things happen so fast, it is very easy to make a mistake. Lamar Lathon is luck he didn't get shot. It sounds like he was reaching under his seat numerous times against the officer's directive... in the dark.. late at night-- a recipe for disaster.

Which BLM leader was that? BLM isn't even an organization.

Lamar Lathon sounds like he was trying to follow the cops directions. Cop told him to give his license but when he reached for it he said don't reach for his seat. So the cop is giving contradictory instructions. Reminds me of the cop who stopped a black guy at the gas station and shot him when he went back into his truck to get his wallet.

If Police are nervous about black people they shouldn't ask for their license and registration. They should ask them where they keep their license first.

When I get pulled over and open the glove box the cop doesn't get nervous. Why? I could have a gun in there. Well it's because I am not a threat - I'm not black.

If the cop told me not to reach for it, then I would just sit there and wait for him to ask me for my license and say well I can't get it because you won't let me reach for it. Of course then he would get annoyed I was being a smartass.

You can't win with police if you are black. They often take everything the worst way possible. When we hang with a group of friends and are being rowdy, and the police come back - it's the black guy they focus on first.

We once got into a fight at a baseball game in Yankee stadium. Who did the cops hold up the longest - the black guy.

I've seen the pattern enough to know it's real. People can deny it but the stats don't like. Blacks are always held in more suspicious and treated worse by cops. Everyone knows it.
