I wouldn't agree on the defense in that second matchup, RedNation's team has much better defenders almost everywhere.

I'm not gonna act like I know better, I just know none of the players on either team were known as "Amazing Defenders" and if they were, then I wasn't aware of them. I basically went off what I knew, and prayed it was right. But what's done is done. I'd hate to be that swing vote.

It's not like it matters ultimately, we are just drafting and judging and discussing for fun. Plus no one can really be right or wrong when time differences are so big, who really knows 100% how someone would translate to current era. But Jerry West was a great defender, long, athletic, smart, McHale was very good, Shaq was also very good in his prime, Dumars and Marion were very good, Barry played with a lot of effort on defense, so I think he'd be much better than Melo on that end today. Glide was the one guy on the other team who had more defensive impact than his counterpart (Ray Allen), but Glide sometimes tried on defense, sometimes didn't, plus there's Dumars behind Ray Allen.
