SC1211 vs. LCAhmed
Talent: SC1211
Fit: SC1211
Matchups: LCAhmed
LCA has a loaded team, but SC's team has five of top 30 or so players. Kareem is one of the best ever, Dr.J, Havlicek and Baylor are all top 10ish wings, Nash has a case for a top 5 point guard. That team also makes sense together, they look like a mobile, running, well passing, well shooting team with a bunch of unselfish guys.
LCAhmed's team will stay in games, it's a grinding team, a lot of offensive rebounds, and Moses often bullied Kareem head to head. Payton with his post ups and defense is a bad matchup for Nash. But I think in the end SC1211 team can mostly stack inside and help each other a lot without punishment, because there's not enough ball movement on LCAhmed's team. The ball will get sticky, multiple of these players can forget to pass, plus there's not much 3pt shooting.
Winner: SC1211.

Jmc vs. BigM
Talent: Jmc
Fit: even
Matchups: even, or maybe BigM slightly
I like both teams a lot, I think they fit together well. BigM might have a slight matchup advantage because his guards are bigger. I guess Wade defends Oscar, which leaves CP3 on Manu. But in the end I think talent wins here, Jmc team has an MVP caliber player at every position, and even the bench is pretty damn talented.
Winner: Jmc

RedRedemption vs. LosPollosHermanos
Talent: RedR
Fit: LosPollos
Matchups: RedR
It's hard to judge Mikan, I'm pretty sure I've never seen a game, just clips, and he played in a league with very different rules, plus it was racially segregated when he turned pro, and it was still almost white when he retired. He's clearly a tough guy who played hard all the time, with a nice touch. But I just don't really know how to judge him, too old.
I don't think Cousy translates well. Maybe if he was born today, he'd develop into a different player, but Cousy had no jumpshot and wasn't a good defensive player, so 'teleporting' him into today's game won't work well, I think.
Talent wise, I'd give an edge to RedR, more talented bench and a bit more talented starting lineup too, I think. But again, it's hard to judge Mikan.
LosPollos team looks like a running team with a ton of shooting around pretty mobile twin towers, I think it fits well. I don't have a problem with Maravich here, except on defense.
RedR team fits ok too, although I'd prefer a different type of SF, Melo's skillset doesn't seem necessary here. Maybe I'd just start Reggie and Drexler. I think this team would've been perfect for Paul George or someone like that. Another athletic breh to run with Magic, plus wing defense, 3pt shooting and no ball stopping.
Matchups, Maravich played no defense, so hiding him will be a problem. Huge size difference between Mikan - Yao, but like I said, I don't really know how to judge Mikan.
Winner: RedR

RedNation vs. Spooner
Talent: RedN
Fit: RedN
Matchups: Spooner
I think both teams should work well, but I just think RedNation's team is better. I think there's a pretty big gap between Shaq and Bill Russell. I think Bill Russell would be a great player today, but I just see Shaq as top 3 player in these drafts.
I like Shaq's supporting cast too. I wouldn't have picked McHale myself, but it should be ok, he could shoot from midrange, cut and finish, and he can be the second post option. Three smart, unselfish shooters around two great inside scorers, all perimeter players can handle the ball and make plays, but it doesn't stick in their hands. I probably wouldn't use Cousins at all here, just let Marion be 4 sometimes and keep one of Shaq or McHale in the post.
It's just a well built team with too much of a talent advantage. Spooner has some matchup advantages because of size and quickness on the wing positions. But I don't think it's enough.
Winner: RedNation
