Prime, so it's not overall body of work. That prime can be 1 or 2 seasons, it can be 5 or more seasons. Usually the prime is pretty long.

If a player is a headcase or whatever and just peaks for a year because he gets his shit together for a short while in a perfect situation and has awesome stats, then I don't really count it as prime.

But if the player was really great and his prime was just cut short by a major injury, then it can be 1 or 2 seasons.

Basically, the question to me is, if you took a player in his prime, how would you expect him to play. Some players might have a peak year with awesome stats, but it just looks fluky and you wouldn't trust them to repeat it. Then there's like ... well, I won't do spoilers... but there are players who got injured right at their peak and you would absolutely trust them to play as well again if they had better luck with injuries.
