Will copy over my post from the other thread (and yes, shameless plug alert): D'Antoni was super positive tonight about Gordon. The quote by itself doesn't fully do it justice... he largely went out of his way to discuss how sharp and healthy he has looked the last two days. MDA isn't typically a big "unsolicited practice praise" guy with the media, so it feels noteworthy. https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...gordon-already-stands-out-to-dantoni-rockets/
Gordon has reportedly lost close to 20 pounds??!!! That's the most exciting thing I've heard yet. If he comes in playing like he's paid to, we will be VERY dangerous!
While I agree I do wonder how it will affect him and hardens game. The strength both of them have has been a big plus
Normally I'd agree, but Gordon had put on a few pounds while resting his knee. He needed to drop some weight. He's probably now back to where his weight was 2 years ago, which is the Gordon we want!
Tyson may still have role on Rockets, on the court, not just leadership. https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...on-chandler-still-has-a-key-role-for-rockets/ Chandler, who won his championship ring as the starting center on the 2011 Dallas Mavericks, is a very respected voice in Houston’s locker room. After a key win in late February at Utah, Chandler delivered a passionate postgame speech to his teammates. Among his comments: "Every game, think about what we’re playing for. It’s a shortened season now. So every time we step on the court, we’ve got to understand what we’re building for. So we’ve got to keep getting better defensively. Because we can. Yeah, we can keep getting better offensively. We’re worried about us getting better."
