Two years ago, he defended well, had a good offensive level and was an important forward rotation for us
Now he is two years older, suffering from back and leg injuri
Do you think Luc is still capable of 15 minute rotation?Or is he just a spectator off the floor?

I think D’Antoni trust him even though he hasn’t been here for 2 years. If he produces in the regular season games I could definitely see him in the rotation for the playoffs.

warm the bench and towel wave...if he’s a legit producer, I’ll be pleasantly surprised

Luc's contract terms should add: a dunk in the game, a fine of $10000

He will get a chance to break into the 7-man rotation, but I am not hopeful that he has enough left.

    https://clutchpoints.com/how-luc-mbah-a-moute-can-help-rockets-nba-restart-thabo-sefolosha-dropout/

Thus, between the normal aging curve for an NBA player and his own personal history with injuries, it’s not clear whether Mbah a Moute is still the same player physically as he was two seasons ago. But if healthy, Mbah a Moute would seem to be an ideal fit for the new frontcourt emphasis of the Rockets (40-24), who are prioritizing versatile defenders such as P.J. Tucker and Robert Covington ahead of traditional centers.

If he is anywhere close to THIS then it is a HUGE upgrade to Thabo.

His defense will easily be his calling card. someone who is able to guard all 5 positions and do it without silly mistakes like fouling. the defensive potential when moute, pj, RoCo are all in the game together is going to be a great option.

Luc is a versatile defender NIGHT IN AND NIGHT OUT!!

But for real, he is very solid on D. He Isn't the fastest guy on the court, isn't the tallest, or the strongest...he is a jack of all-trades. Which is just what you need for defense.

If Luc is 100% or close to it, let him sit and save him for playoffs. We all know what he can do.

Let's see more Bruno, Demarre, Green, etc.

I totally agree with you, dud.
I was a Luc's fan two years ago.
As long as he is on the floor, he can always have a very obvious positive effect on the team, whether it is one-on-one defense, cooperative defense, or supplementary defense, he always completes very well. On the defensive side, I never seem to have seen him destroyed. Under his defense, the percentage of hits and the efficiency of attack will obviously decrease.

Seriously, we had CP3,、PJ,、Trevor,、Luc、Clint, so many good defensive players, but only CP3 and Luc can give me the feeling mentioned above
