Game 5 with a Houston feed (Worrell and Murphy).

    Seems like yesterday.

Has anybody ever surpassed Chris Jent's playoff record? More playoff games than regular season games.

If anyone has a server, I have the original BETA tapes of some 1994 Play-off games (Suns & Jazz series) that are between 10 and 16GB per game, which I would be happy to upload.

Isn't that the series where Barkley made fun of Chuckie Brown, then Chuckie proceeded to dominate him on D?

    No. That was 1995.

also, Barkley still had his way vs Brown. Rudy has to switch Horry onto him. That, plus some sort of leg injury, helped limit Barkley in game 7.

This was the series that Vernon Maxwell created Clutch City after the newspaper called us Choke City

The series changed once Barkley back started to fail him. You can see it affecting him. No excuses for KJ and Thunder Dan. Complete no shows

I loved how that team could match you at your style of basketball...and beat you at it. They could outscore or you if that was your game...or grind it out with you. And win.

Ive been re-watching this entire series. Done games 1-6. Game 7 today. What strikes me is the differences in how basketball was played then and how the team strengths/weaknesses of that 1994 team were about the opposite of our current one.

Max and Cassell were fearless. They would drive to basket with 4 or 6 guys in the paint. Didnt matter.

Horry was such a boss his whole career, he never forgot when Ainge launched the ball into Elie's face on purpose. I'll always respect Horry for throwing that towel at Ainge and embarrassing him when Ainge became head coach of the Suns after Horry got traded for Barkley.

I still have all the video tapes of every playoff game from 93-95. I never converted them, I wish I would have.

Last I watched I remember the ball movement was superb. Even in the Knicks series where most at the time thought it was ugly ball, it surely was not. Two teams Playing fantastic hard nosed ball and one playing just that much better.

Why, they’re scrambled now? They are all available in best quality, every single game of the 93-95 playoffs. 2-4 dvd sized versions, so there’s no need ;)
