I know we won a regular season game last night and everybody in Houston thinks we are now a lock for the Finals this year, but that is the type of short sighted thinking that has doomed this franchise the last 25 years and counting. They are always one piece away from the promiseland. As much as we all love Green and Carroll, they just add a bit more depth and are not the game changers to take us to the Finals. We are still going to get our arses handed to us by Anthony Davis and LeBron when the games actually count. Cousins would change that narrative big time (no pun intended). Don’t forget that Cousins used to kill us from the three point line when in New Orleans. Time for the Rockets to make the one move they have failed to make since 1995.

Whoever can't get on the court is not a piece, missing or not.

Have you watched a single Rockets game this year my man?

You think an injured slow footed post up threat who cannot check anyone on the perimeter is the Rockets missing piece?

Sure. Put him in a fast paced small ball system just make sure you bring an oversized stretcher.

You realize Lakers released Cousins cuz he couldnt be healthy right? How d hell can he "change the narrative" when he cant even get on the court? If Cousins does play he'll do so wothout having played a single minute of regular season, oh yeah out of shape and rusty Cousins is gonna "change the narrative" all because he "killed us" from 3 a couple years ago. And thats assuming he doesnt retear his ACL running and jumping all around the court like the Rox do.

And did you really have to make a new thread about your hot take? You couldn't even do a quick google search to find out Cousins is done for the year and plans to rehab with the Lakers? And you call other shortsighted wtf!

If he was playable Lakers would have kept him. No one in their right minds picks up Morris over a "HEALTHY" Cousins. Boogie gonna need some time after that one.

Maybe we could trade him for Eric Gordon!

    I'm kidding.
