What's the game plan when the 3's aren't falling?

Seriously asking? I know we live and die by the three but there has to be a plan b when we brick.

    - I still think we need a lob threat
    - I'd like to see Harden shoot the elbow jumper

This scenario is the only one that concerns me...

BTW, watching the Rockets play is pure entertainment. It reminds me of the 2003-2005 Suns teams that I would watch any chance I got.

Getting back to my question, any thoughts?

I thought Harden needed a constant lob threat too, but he doesn't. The lob threat is Westbrook coming from the baseline. the Defender helps off him so disrespectfully he is open for lobs all day.

Notice in the 4th qtr when Clint was here, Rockets abandoned the lob all together. The lobs are only effective in the first 3 qtrs anyway.

back up plan is to let Russ bully his defender on the inside.

    Russ is the lob threat.

But agree, need more players who can provide different options on offense.

6'10 Jonah Bolden and 6'6 Justin Anderson can both climb the ladder too.

Also both very good wing switch defenders and 3ball shooters as well.

Defense and attack the rim. Old school basketball.

Covington was 2-12 from 3 tonight, but had 12 boards and 3 blocks.
Tucker was 1-5 but had 5 boards a steal and a block.
Plus a load of altered shots and deflections between them.
    Bring your lunch pail.

we shot 29% against Boston, and beat them by 11.

BOS was on a 7 game win streak, and 10 out of 11.

Harden was hot this game against the Jazz from the 3. When he started missing/chucking, he attacked. Hope that continues. For Russ, attack, post, attack, attack, dish. The only time Russ looks ineffective is when he's hesitant or wildly out of control. He needs to find the middle ground. We're good.

lol, i don't know. Harden was struggling with micro ball at first I thought it was because he needed that lob threat to give the defender that extra level of doubt.

But yeah the lob was there for Clint's benefit not Harden's, lol

We lose. Hahaha. We have now the entire roster (minus Rus) that shoots three and can get hot.
