He's right...he came in and did exactly what we asked him to do. Turns out he sucks at it. Not his fault, he did his best, he did what he was told, he played his role. He just wasn't good enough, and he's still not. There's a reason no serious playoff team wanted him. He's capable of having good games occasionally but they're few and far between.
What does Melo mean by "it was already planned out like that." Does he mean him playing from the bench, or us pulling the plug to get Bzdelik back?
If I were ever inclined to try to play basketball I would try every thing in my power to learn how to be an efficient spot up 3 shooter. As Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and many other players who've shown that athleticism can only take you so far. If you can at least spread the defense by separating the defenders you can be effective for a long time in the league. Doesn't help that Melo never bothered to challenge himself to being a consistent defender either, doesn't help with a switch heavy defense if you can't play any defense in that scheme
Melo went AWOL on the team, it should of been considered maternity leave. He needs pampers, diapers and all the cool stuff babies need.

Nothing else to report on? He was a professional the whole time he was here. It could have been a complete circus but he just left with his head high. I respect him for that.
