    Not having a Brandon Knight or Ryan Anderson type of contract might have cost the Rockets a title this season.

    C'mon man.

    Don't be so dense. If we still had Knight + Chriss as matching salary, then we'd also be stuck with whomever we drafted at 26 last year, and a 2020, 2021 and 2022 2nd round pick. PLUS we might still have James Ennis

    But we wouldn't have Iman Shumpert OR $12M that we paid in lux tax. Plus we probably wouldn't have Nene wasting a roster spot now. Or

    It was SUCH a crappy deal at the time. Salary dumping to get Shumpert? Yuck. It may have been the move which costs us a shot to contend this season. Expirings of Knight/Chriss would have netted Igoudala by attaching all those picks (or Roco with all those picks!) - and that's going all in - who knows what could have been done with them...

    Tillman not being willing to spend into the tax has certainly made things more difficult.

    I wouldn’t be shocked if Morey, Antoni and maybe even James we’re ready to move on if this doesn’t pan out.

    The time to spend is now and Tillman garbage ass has not spent to capitalize.
