LMAO. Nobody touched Carmelo for a full year after we released him. Sure the Rockets are the bad guys. ESPN couldn’t wait to write this article.

They also did not touch Faried.

Doesn't mean he is useless in the right situation.

Agreed. Anybody could have picked him up, that is for sure. Anthony still wanted to be top dog....

After dropping Carmelo, The Rockets evaluated their roster and made a good decision, and they picked up the pace and had a great regular season.

But ESPN is so fixated on painting Harden as the super villain amongst villains in the NBA. And they’ve succeeded up to now, the perception of James is pretty bad Nationally.

James score 50 points and nobody blinks an eye. Anthony Davis score 50 and it’s breaking new popping onto my phone and front page news....

Ironic that in today’s world (with all advances and alternative sources) the Main Street news/sports media has been exposed as propaganda machines and not about freedom of information.

It’s all just perception. If you’re a winner nobody would care if you were cold blooded and asset managing. Look at the patriots, they drop players all the time yet nobody criticizes them about. It’s Bc they win

Doesn't bode well for future recruiting efforts if this becomes a league wide narrative. We already have to deal with the ESPN bias, now this.

Melons owes this organization some gratitude.
Its Houston who-allowed him to get slapped into reality.
If it wasn’t for us cutting his weak &$$ he’d still be trying to get a superstar gig.

Melo was an inefficient no defense chucker and Paul played a third of the season and didn't deliver in the Playoffs while being paid a king's Ransom. I suppose they can warn other players too.o_O

I suppose no one should ever get traded? No matter how good the team is? What is this rationale?

I didn't and still don't like the CP/Westbrook trade, but the thought that it is somehow indicitave of the organization being unethical? Nah. And Melo just sucked so bad... Not at all the same situation.

Be careful of what? Lol. Chris got paid his full maximum here even after a devastating hamstring injury in the playoffs.

Melo makes it sound like the Rockets were plotting against Chris. The bottom line, the Rockets FO runs this place as a business and that's it. Other teams do the same ****, but somehow we are always casted as the villains. Melo needs to realize that his ass was about to be benched to get more defensive output out of our team, but instead of parking him on the sidelines, the Rockets FO sent him home so he could try to find another gig.

ESPN always looking for a story against us.
