Are there any affordable players that would allow us to match up with the Lakers?

Joke thread i know. AD and LeBron might honestly be scarier than KD and Curry, but this Alex Curachi fellow is no Klay Thompson.

we're good. just need to find consistency defensively and have eric come back healthy.

i hate kd but honestly at his best he was better than current lebron and ad combined. hes a matchup nightmare in the playoffs - a 7ft tall knockdown shooter from all over the court who can get his shot any time he wants. he was a switch breaker and he was the only solution for gsw against bigglydiks scheme. literally has no weakness in his game.

ad is still a softie and gets manhandled in the playoffs. he isn’t any different than karl anthony towns. lebron is turning into a bad shooter after having been so efficient in his miami days. and lebron gets beat so easily on the defensive end now.

this laker team is nowhere near gsw in terms of talent. only problem is, i think they will have even more of an officiating bias than gsw... if u thought games 6-7 2018 wcf was bad... just wait til the refs get a chance to team up with the lakers.

I'm with you here. Let's wait until we play them. Win or lose, if they're healthy, we'll know if we're in the same league based on how we play. My gut says, 'yeah... why wouldn't we be in the same league?' If we lose by 30 when we're both full strength, I'll rethink things. But if we win by a few or lose by a few, I'll just look forward to the playoffs and playing a 7 game series.

We've never struggled with Anthony Davis before. Only time he's given us fits was when he and Boogie were on the same team.

They're what 21-3? That's impressive even if they played the worst team in the NBA 24 times.

Gms around the league get to shop using Amazon.

Morey has to go to Dollar Tree.

I said it in the NBA thread but the Lakers have the best rotation of bigs and we have the best rotation of guards not even including Ego.

I think you make them go small. AD can defend the perimeter...Dwight and McGee? Not so much. Spread em out and run them out the building. We have no hope of matching their size.

Harden is the master of deceleration not acceleration.

Westbrook, House, RIvers and others might but let us not pretend everyone is speedy and WB is not smart enough consistently.

Harden is gonna cook whoever is on him, let's be real here, he had no problems dissecting Kawhi Leonard of all people.

McGee and Dwight are not good perimeter defender at all, that's why McGee was a situational player for the Warriors.

No doubt, it is going one bona fide matchup of huge size and skills vs skilled small ball.

I am thinking more about Houston will try to shoot them out of the building than run them out of the building per se.

Lelz, Kawhi isn't his best in the regular season, we all know that, he is 30% better in the Playoffs, we'll see, Harden is the best scorer, of course he is gonna cook someone.

Harden always playing well against Lebron in regular season, helps.

We don't match up with them. They match up with us.
We don't adjust to them. They adjust to us.
Most of time adjustments are overblown. You just say 'Play Harder'.

What’s crazy is that’s only 4 games better than us, and we dropped some seriously winnable games.

Do the Lakers have anyone to match up with Chris Clemons. I don't think so.
