He right tho, Pat Bev does run around a lot and get hurt every season.

That said, WB really needs to get his 3pt percentages up. We really need him to hit those open 3s.

I love Bev but it does seems he’s become a gimmick. With us he moved his feet and had great hands, now he seems to resort to cheap tricks and flopping.

Bev is a pesky defender that hustles at all times...he’s always too aggressive on defense

Harden schooled him...it was looking like pops vs son out there

Harden drawing fouls on Bev while just walking up the court...he had Bev making dumb decisions all night

McGruder did a better job on Harden than Bev

Good, at least you still defend yourself.

I really don't like the mouth on Westbrick (one of many things I don't like about him). His s*** talking very likely played a role in Portland upsetting OKC last year, but... he's right here. Even in Houston, it was always clear to me that Beverley was an overrated AF defender. It was the Kobe effect. People see you overplaying your man, ballhawking, "working hard", and they call it good defense. He plays hard, but not smart. At all. He's not a very good defender.

Thankfully Beverley isn't a guy anyone needs to be afraid of if he gets a lil extra motivation. He's already motivated enough playing against Houston (which is why he does a lotta dumb nonsense against us)... I just hope his team doesn't like him enough for that kinda comment by WB to light a fire under them, too.

In fairness, the NBA has made it harder for defenders like Pat Bev. He would be a DPOY perennial candidate if he played in the 80s or 90s.

I disagree on that...star calls would have him on the bench quick, and he’s only 6’1

Patrick Beverley ain’t Gary Payton on D

    We have gone

    From

Harden playing with Pat, with Pat trashing talking, defending and breaking WB's leg

    To

Harden torching Pat while being defended with him, while playing with WB, and Russ trash talking to Pat.

Meanwhile Sefolosha keeps bricking everything. In OKC and in Houston.

Love them both for the same reasons. They’re more alike than they are different.

I'm fine with exaggerating contact but faking contact when you aren't touched is bush league ****. Not a fan of what Pat Bev was doing to Harden tonight. There were like 3 or 4 of them in this game, including the one that got challenged and overturned. Thankfully they weren't getting called and I think it had a lot to do with him fouling out.

Beg plays great D in spurts... Otherwise he's just getting his Draymond on , the rest of the game...

To be fair I think Brothers just didn't see him because he's blind. He missed all the calls on Russ, anyway. One of the worst in the business, and incredibly arrogant as well.

    F*ck Tony, and his brothers.

    Great win!
