What we do we know after roughly 10 games into the new season? Facts - Lakers and Celtics are #1 in their respective conferences - 15 team above .500 9 teams out West and 6 in the East - 13 teams have a positive net rating - Lakers and Celtics lead in net rating and Rockets have the worst positive net rating - Harden leads the league in scoring at 37 - Lebron leads the league in assists at 11 Opinion - Suns, Wolves & Heat to a degree have been positive surprises - Blazers & Nets are better than their record implies - Celtics are off to a much better start than most would probably expected - Lakers look legit with their size and all round deep roster - Raptors still look very good, even without Kawhi as FVV and Siakam continue their play-off performances - Rockets look alright, size and depth is a serious issue Conclusion The Warrior era had already come to a close, but for those who doubted it: the Warriors have fallen and it's glorious. The league so far have a lot of good teams and some clear contenders , though with the league still wide open. It's definitely more exciting as a basketball fan, though as a Rockets fan we should be worried if this is the final roster come play-off time. Let's see what happens.

Will the Lakers’ offense be able to score enough? 3. Will Zion Williamson still take home the Rookie of the Year award? 4. Can Malcolm Brogdon continue to play like one of the NBA’s best offensive players? 5. Can Pascal Siakam keep up his MVP-level start? 6. Will Portland be the odd team out? 7. The Wolves aren't really a surprise. A lot of people predicted that they would be a first round exit team. And they look like it. The Suns are the biggest surprise so far. Miami is somewhat of a surprise. Jimmy Butler is doing much better than last season now that he appears to have settled in a team. Apparently Irving was holding them back. But I am rooting against them. I really hope that it won't be another Celtics-Lakers finals. Return of the evil empire. LeBron seems to be having fun again. The Raptors have been a very good team the past few years, even before the Kawhi trade. So I'm not surprised. The difference between last season's team and the other seasons was that they finally had a superstar player to take over in the playoffs. Now they are hoping Siakem has grown into that role. Rockets are still unknown as they are playing mostly crappy teams so far. Let see how they do tonight against the Clippers. I'm more worried about our long term well-being. We have mortgaged the future to get to this flawed roster.
If I had to guess playoff teams, it would be something, like this.. top 4 in the West, home advantages, no order Lakers Clippers Nuggets Rockets or Suns Bottom half of playoff teams. Jazz Spurs T-Wolves Trailblazers or Mavs Odd teams out Pelicans Grizzlies Dubs Top 4 in East : 76ers Bucks Celtics Raptors or Heat Bottom half Pacers Nets Every other team could potentially be 8, except the Wizards and Knicks. A 50 win team could potentially missed the playoffs in the West. I think this is the best place for the league to be in, since people always argue about parity.
It’s gonna be Lakers or Clippers depending on AD’s health and LeBron’s ability to sustain his high level. Once PG13 and Kawhi get going they’re gonna be a nightmare. They’re head and shoulders better than us and everyone else.
As much as I hate Sarver I am happy for the Suns and I hope they're going to sustain the momentum they're having right now and not crash like how Detroit did last year when they started off 13-7 after 20 games. And as much as I hate to say it, Dallas has a powerhouse team brewing. One more acquisition/trade and I'd put them in the Top 3 right behind the LA teams.
Yep...AD is going to get hurt and miss a bunch of games...that’s what he does. Lebrons going to have to shoulder the load over that time but I don’t think he can do that for long stretches at his age. I think it’ll be the clips, us, then the lakers or nuggets.
