Yo guys I am seeing a lot of debate around the choice of money vs values by these NBA celebrities like Morey, LeBron, Harden, Stephen A, Kerr and etc... So just curious if it was u in a similar situation, what would u choose?

If I made money off of HK and China and my money was seemingly exponential, I don’t think it’s that hard of a decision

    hell no.

and i damn sure wouldn't give a dime to support people who don't support me and resort to racism when they don't like your waffling. that's all it took for the racism to fly.

this is why black athletes need to be front and center riding hard for the people of hong kong because since they care about issues that affect their communities in america then they need to care about hong kong just as much or else they're chimps with low IQs.

Where does the money go to? Funding more violence does not make sense.

15% of LBJ's money is much more than many of us make.

In capitalism this makes all the difference.

15% to a millionaire isn't remotely as impactful as it is to a normal person. It's a stupid poll.

LeBron would still be fabulously wealthy beyond belief and it would have zero impact on anything important to him. I would have to give up basically all my yearly savings.

    Yes, without question.

edit I'm relatively indifferent towards HK, don't like it but not losing sleep. The issue of communism influencing freedom of expression here in the US is much, much more important to me.

now it's becoming clearer why the same people who want them to shut up and dribble are singing a different tune with this one. birds of a feather flock together.

“all these people I view as low IQ chimps and monkeys need to fight for me and lose millions for me”

I wonder what they were saying about Harden when he made his 1st statement?

I'd give up exactly $0.00 for a country that loves products of black cultures but despises black people.

If I made $2 mil a year and it cost me $300K to have a clean conscience and be able to sleep at night knowing I don’t support an authoritarian government yeah.

    Yeah I’d be alright

Lebron and Harden are the greatest when they’re providing entertainment, but the minute they do something they don’t like they’re orangutans, monkeys, or chimps with low IQ

no doubt Harden was getting called all sorts of ****er, low IQ monkey, etc when he made his 1st statement

Have any politicians given up some of their income for these protests? It’s only NBA players being asked to sacrifice their money.

big businesses who have way more money than any of these athletes are bowing down to China left and right in order to avoid losing any revenue

Adam Silver is still hoping to salvage a relationship with China because he doesn’t want to lose that China money
