Why hasnt houston looked at him? Legit 7'0 who could come in at PF, and grab some rebounds. Last played with MIL/WASH. Has more exp than Hart, and ive seen him play, hes good. There was some info on him last season off the bench for washington... https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/video/how-jason-smith-went-expendable-invaluable-wizards
He fills a need and coach won’t play Hartenstein (this will be 3 years into his career). How much will his services cost? He was rotation worthy and his look productive at league level when given the opportunity to play.
Ya looks like after the wizards there in 17-18, he just kinda drop off the grid, didnt get any playing time anywhere.. I was wondering if i t was he just didnt get an oppurtinutity or he is either just done at 33. I could see him getting alot of spot ups here if he still has it. That shot blocking is sharp that he has thou. I bet he have more in tank than Hartenstein or Nene for sure lol.
He couldn’t play the 4 in our system, he’s too slow on defense to play the 4 nowadays and our 5 position is filled.
Good idea. Smith is a good shooter and smart player, but he's more cut out for minutes at the 5 than 4...and we've already inked Chandler and Nene...
