Who’s the better scorer? To me there’s no argument to be made for Harden as it’s difficult to gauge how good Harden is considering how he fishes for calls.

I’d need to see him play in the 80s-90s or just any game without the need for ref bailouts. MJ is better unless clearly proven otherwise, though he’s not necessarily the clear #1 scorer in NBA history.

Remember MJ could score 40+ at 38-39 with 15+ FGs, very few threes and rarely over 10 FTs. He averaged 20-22 PPG. I don’t see anyone doing that again.

certain players turn it up another gear in playoffs, others don't or just can't switch gears.

Harden is a true great player, one of the best all time--zero doubts. However, Harden isn't a player who has the ability to turn things up a gear in the playoffs. Harden isn't at his best in the playoffs, he is at his best in season.

Michael Jordan was able to turn his game up a gear come playoffs.

Anyways, since you talked 'scorer' and 'nba history'. The #1 'scorer' in NBA history was Wilt.

I'd love to have 2 superstars. One at his best in season to assure a top seed and another at his best in playoffs to assure titles as there are some great players who aren't that wonderful in season and really only breakout in the playoffs.

Harden choke in the playoffs, when defense tighten up. Sorry Daryl, Jordan > Harden.

there’s nothing to even settle, we all know what the reality is...MJ is a better scorer than Harden, this shouldn’t even be a topic

Morey should’ve never even opened his mouth talking reckless

if Harden scored at his regular season levels with his regular season level of efficiency in the playoffs year after year then maybe there could actually be a serious discussion, but he doesn’t

I love Harden, but I can’t sit here and be delusional talking about he’s a better scorer than MJ

James Harden has more Scoring Skills, Stepback 3, Sidestep 3, Eurostep, Pump Fake 3

James Harden I believe is a evolved Scoring Version of Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce

He has moves from all of them

James moves is more polished, and smoother.

Michael Jordan Fadeaway Midrange 2 pointers, Post Up, Stepback 2 pointer, Pump Fake Midrange 2 pointer

This comment makes no sense at all. All superstars fish for calls.

Jordan is obviously the superior player. But Harden is one of the greatest offensive forces to ever play the game and he has an elite ability to attack and draw legitimate fouls. We don’t need to incorrectly put him down to boost up how good Jordan was.

If the premise is that refs give Harden calls, then you'll find the same thing was said of Jordan during his run -- people always complained about refs bailing him out on calls, and he didn't even look to get bailed out. lol.

Check out Jordan's numbers in the '93 Finals, or in '86 against the Celtics. Then get back to me when Harden averages 40+ in a playoff series against an elite team.

I don't know why Morey insists on doing this crap.

    Morey knows what he’s doing
It’s like the 99ers see the bigger picture

    This is not about MJ

This is about putting the Rockets and Harden to the top topics on these hot take shows the media loving generation loves

Suddenly the topic is not LeBron or Los Angeles for one day

99ers are just smarter thinkers and celestial beings
