Adding Kanter or Vucevic, Pelicans can make the playoffs?

    pelicans have 19 million cap room. kanter is non bird. They can sign Kanter.
    Then they can use MLE 9.2 million dollars to sign a player like Seth Curry.
    another option:
    Thunder plan to dump 19 million salary. Pelicans can trade Moore and a first for Steven Adam and another player so thunder can share luxury tax profit. Then thunder would trade or pick a big man.
    Golden States are going to play lotto like Lakers did this year if Curry miss the games one month.

    In all seriousness... the Pelicans are already trying to figure out how to keep Zion long term.... yeah he isn’t even drafted yet and they are trying to make sure they keep him happy. The NBA wants players to leave for teams like NY and LA, they don’t really want players to stay in places like NO or OKC... if they did, they would fix it.
