    I hope he negotiates a NTC in there (doubt it, not sure if it's actually doable either), otherwise he will not retire in Houston. Morey is a robot and is a businessman first.

    With Dirk retiring, Melo excommunicated and LeBron changing teams. I don’t think a single player has a NTC

    Also, I think one of the stipulations is you have to be with the same team for four years to negotiate one.

    Technically his first contract was already a hometown discount.

    EG is a vital part of this team imo, he's like 80% of a star at half the price.

    And if I remember correctly, at the beginning of the season he rejected the idea of DM's early renewal, and I think he may be looking for a contract that pays more than $20 million a year for at least three years after the end of the season...
