Projected to be the next Lebron when drafted...the couple games I've seen from him he just looks like he doesn't really care. You have players like Harden that are arguably the best in the game and still try to take their game to the next level. This guy is so gifted and seems to be getting by talent alone.

Wolves fans aren't too happy with him atm either.

That's basically the problem with him. He has all the tools to be a very good player, but he is coasting to make a paycheck and it shows. I don't think he loves the game like the elite players do.

Not sure he was the next LeBron, but he was supposed to be at least a Vince Carter/Rudy Gay type talent.

Biggest knock on him was whether or not he was mentally going to reach that potential. Basically the main thing holding him back so far. Probably would be good for him to get out of Minnesota and play with other older stars.

He just doesn't seem to care enough - he has all the skills and athleticism to be an amazing player. I've watched quite a lot of Minnesota games and he's passive about 98% of the time if not more. Every now and then, when he puts his mind to it, he is almost unguardable and makes the offense looks so easy. Still perplexed that Minnesota gave him the extension they did, knowing he had motivational issues.

Trade from the Cavs messed him up mentally.

He thought he was the third star and him, Lebron and Kyrie were going to be running mates.

So he shrunk like a peon.

he's only 24, but before you know it he'll be 29 with no improvements and jumping from team to team on his way out of the league.

He isn’t terrible bright, mentally he doesn’t have the proper mentality. He believes he should get 20-25 shots a game. He doesn’t have the skill set for that, but he won’t adjust.

He has all the physical attributes to be a top defensive player in the league and to rebound. He doesn’t want to do that, he wants to score.

Sometimes just drafting a bunch of physically gifted lottery picks isn’t enough, there is something to be said about coaching and culture. Compare Kawhi Leonard to Andrew Wiggins.

Nothing. That's the point. He's just as good as he was in college.

He is of Jeff Green mold.

    Low IQ mental midget.

Play him physically and watch him get rattled.

Add a little trash talk to the mix and watch him completely disappear.

Classic case of "looking the part" but not having a *high motor* to improve his game. Much like Rudy Gay in that aspect. Though Gay has rounded a bit more into form over the years.

GMs get seduced by athleticism, but MOTOR is a big deal.

    MOTOR + Athleticism = superstar

Low Motor + Athleticism = albatross contract.
