The League stopped the Chris Paul to the Lakers and Pau Gasol trade to the Rockets. Pau didn't want to come to Houston, but that is not the point. Stern said the trade was stopped for basketball reasons.

It's not fair to the rest of the 29 teams to give an undue advantage to an already loaded Golden State Warriors. This is the first time in NBA history that the 5 starters are all-star players. Who will take this up with Adam Silver? (The new David Stern)

 

It’s OK. I would take Manimal over Boogie’s weak fat ass. As long as our whole team is healthy, we will beat them. The championship banner will be raised in Toyota Center in 2019-2020.

 

GS has won 7 in a row, blowing out Denver and the Clippers, in the process. They got Cousins back, who when healthy, is either the best or second best 5 in the game.

They can go undefeated the rest of the year, and that's not even an exaggeration.

 

Wait, you would take a 6'8 dude that can't defend or shoot over a legit 7 footer who can play in the post and spot up from 3? If Boogie is even 70% of what he was pre-injury, the Warriors are an unfair monstrosity that should never have been allowed.

There is only one ball. Also defense wise, I think McGee is a better fit to them. Fair or not, accept the challenge. That’s also the unique opportunity for Rockets and James become one of the greatest. Like if Jordan didn’t retire and we beat them in 94 or 95. I am sure people would call the Dream the greastest.

That was said when Durant joined the team, too. If Curry, Thompson and Durant can share the ball, there's no reason to believe that Cousins won't also buy in.

Dude is also coming off an Achilles injury and is looking for a big contract, so it would be completely stupid if he goes rogue, at this point in time.

Even without cousins they are overpowered like crazy. They have 2 top 5 players.

 

Imagine if we signed this Boogie Cousins to 1 year MLE how excited everyone would be to have him as a 20-minute player. You can't argue that he won't be better than Zaza Pachulia after 40 games to get in shape ffs.

Also, why on earth would we arrive to the playoffs in full health? We're statistically the least likely team to show up healthy. They are a bunch of young guys and will put 0 pressure on Boogie. You better hope there's a locker room problem, because trust me you don't want to see Faried going up against even a hobbled Cousins.

 

With cousins to me the looked weaker. They were barely beating the clips and the clippers couldn’t make a bucket.
Capela pretty much will our run cousins. And if Harden is switch into him he can coock him outside or go in. Looney is a better defender and has quick feet. Even McGee was better against us because he is quick and can jump high. Also I’m sure boogie will get in foul trouble or do stupid things like always. They already have Green getting stupid techs and with cousins more techs their way.

 

They were barely beating the Clippers in the first half when Cousins was in foul trouble. In the second half when he was playing extended minutes they blew the lead wide open.

Besides the foul trouble he looked good for his first game back. He just has to get use to the new defensive rules. But the presence he gives them down low as well as a 3 point threat, assisting in the offense and the defense he provides makes GS better than before. They were the champions and still went out and made a big move while the rest of the league sat and watched.

Remember when Morey was obsessed with the Warriors? Well the rich keeps getting richer while the Rockets surround Harden with has-beens, low-level minimum contracts, and G-leaguers while they claim to want to “run it back” and contend for a championship.
